I am the leader of a powerful organization with extensive funds and an even more extensive list of enemies and I wish to hire the Crows to rid myself of them.

Bards need not apply.

I'm down. I could use some crows to get rid of some enemies.

Nah, too many politics involved for me.  I appreciate the offer, but I'll stick to being freelance.  ;)

Blood mages welcome? We can infiltrate and destroy things from within and even make it look like an accident.

An assassin that wants to say out of politics?

So...you just kill unfaithful spouses and stuff?

Thanks but no thanks. I follow the wind and it blows just as heavily against the lives of assassins as their prey.

No, I meant the politics of the Crow organization itself.  There is too many hierarchies and rules for me.  Plus, I like to pick my own contracts, and I prefer not to do wetwork unless it's absolutely necessary.  It's surprising what a bit of coin there or the right information being whispered in the right ear can accomplish over bloodshed.   I'm my own boss, keep my own hours, set my own pay and keep to my own rules, not someone elses.

I respect the Crows, but I have no desire to join then.

So long as you only worry about doing what you're told and getting paid and let me worry about ideals, we should get along just swimmingly.

Ooooo, how exciting. Quickly, invite her in.

That is the common orlesian response to bards, as per the lore.

Ugh, are you kidding me?!?  One does NOT have to be a bard to use information correctly.  I just said that I don't like dealing with many politics and bards are up to the asses in it.   <_<

Oh and to hell with Orlais.  I always prefered Ferelden myself.

Bite thy tongue!  I'm a little hurt, actually.  I have never seen my self as a bard, so please take it back.

Oh, but I hold bards in the highest esteem.

;)

Ferelden nobility does not appreciate the subtle art of assassination. They just shout and punch each other in the face.

Honestly, while Leliana is okay (Varric could be considered a non poet skald due to his stories and I adore him,)  I've never been a fan of bards in any setting.   They are either political spies/assassins (Thedas), or annoying and/or foppish (most Forgotten Realm bards) or both.

@MisterJB That's not entirely true.  Us rogues have got a place there for our special work if needed.   It's mainly the simpler Ferelden fashion and the straight forwardness of the people I prefer.    You have fun rebuilding your organization.

Oh and if you see Zevran (if you let him live in Origins,) tell him I said "hi."

Except Loghain. He was a bastard, but a smart bastard. Nonetheless, the Inquisitor will be one of those rare, subtle Fereldens that gets stuff done, and done well.

Did they say the Human Inquizzy would be Fereldan?

I'd assumed they would be from Orlais.

O_O Blasphemy!

I overcame Death it self! And even managed to find half of my cloak! I then proceeded to start creation in Thedas.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

No clue. But I'm assuming one Inquisitor will be a Ferelden though. Plus, the Ferelden people speak often with an English accent, and the guy we heard at PAX spoke with an British accent, but I'm just speculating.

I reported you all to an upstanding dwarf by the name of Oghren who revealed his identity as "High King of Thedas, or at least her backside" over drinks to me last night. I can only assume that only a true king would regard a whole continent so belligerently, so I have no doubt there was validity in his claim -- so be warned, you'll be brought to justice soon, all of you.

"Gott ist tot", a fact Z chooses to forget.

And most anime gods are very capable of dying in horrific ways by the hero at some point.  Food for thought.  ;)
