I'm curious as to why PS4 outsold Xbox One 7:1 in Europe during the month of March. You know, the month that TitanFall released. And it was being given away for free in a bundle with the Xbox One.

I find it very interesting. Any analysis?

Funny thing is here in my country (Brazil) is less expensive to build a good PC and buy games from Steam than buy any console so I've always been a PC gamer.

I have never needed to install a game playing on console. If these new consoles now have installation processes, it only gives more credence to my point that PC's and Consoles are becoming the same damn thing, and so the PC master race and Console Wars simply a soon to be irrelevant differentiation.

Then you have never played on the PS3.

Well, you are still free to do whatever you like with your physical copy.

I don't know about the month of March specifically, but Microsoft has yet to officially release the new Xbox in several countries here, the Netherlands being one of them. I imagine that this has influenced console sales in PS4's favor, as that one has been released in December or November 2013 (not sure which month, because I have no interest in actually buying a console).

This will be my last post in this cute little silly thread, because I don't have time to argue or bicker about console wars. The war is over, the only remnants are the bitter Xbone fanboys clinging desperately to their dogma. There are a plethora of raw statistics in a wide range of catagories that show this. Sales. But as me and other forum goers have noted, basic math don't mean much in this thread. Haha.

Too bad Microsoft didn't get that grand slam with TitanFall :(.

Anyhow, let the dogma be re-established, and carry on.

MS may still have to release the xbox in some countries but its near impossible to get a PS4 anywhere. I have to wait till summer to get mine, which is probably a plus as there will be a few good game out by then, still I want to play Infamous GOD DAMMIT.

Do they not apply those crazy taxes or whatever it is that makes games so expensive in Brazil to PC parts and Steam?

I don't think the legislation's caught up to taxing digital goods.

My hypothesis is that nobody cares about a €500 glorified Apple TV nor Titanflop.

It seems to match the observational evidence.
