This all smells suspicious...maybe they really are bringing back support for the game.

After that game I unlocked the claymore, so no more mattock
@Tokenusername Rio was because one of the players was working on map mastery
I enjoy showing pugs the power of Mattock.

Did you have to get a body cast so that your trigger finger could heal up? How long did it take you to recover? Did you have to go to the hospital?
Did you bother to heal up, or just have it amputated?
The only people that I saw use and enjoy the Mattock had one of those cheaty clicker programs. Otherwise in one gold match you can develop a recessive arthritis gene that will cause kids 8 generations down the line to live in wheelchairs all of their life.
I'd still kill him in the reactor.
You should've kicked that no equipment wearing scrub.
That is actually a good point as they don't have any consumables equipped and yet readied up. Even level 1 consumables would make a noticeable difference, especially if equipping armor piecing or drill rounds. You just need to look at old threads about how much that irritates other players when no consumables are equipped on gold.

I have only been trapped in their once (while I was alive) and that was by another Dev.
Also I finished the mattock challenge so that is why I "hung it up".
And yes theoretically I could unlock everything for myself, I am using this account to play with more fans (I have been at Origin Friend cap since the demo), have a new challenge, play with people at work without having everything, and because I want to see what progression is like with all DLC installed from the start.

I almost never use consumables, the only time I do is in platinum.
There hasn't been very many games I havent "held my own"
I don't use consumables as well.
#IgotSwagLikeBroJo
That explains it! I've been away from the forum as of lately.
Back in my day, playing with a developer was rarer than unlocking a triple UR pack.
I missed out on the original "play with dev" nights, so I'm really happy to have the opportunity again.

I'm almost shocked by that. The issue isn't about holding your own but about your combat effectiveness and having some "skin" in the game. By equipping consumables your saying that you more committed to the success of the match as you effectively putting your earned credits (in the form of consumables) into the match.

I come from the background of old style RPGs where I would always save my items thinking that their would be a point when they are more effective.
You dont have to put up money to want to succeed.
You are free to kick me all the same, its your choice, as it is mine.
I feel for ya BroJo.
I get called scrub all the time when I don't use consumables.
I can't see anyone kicking BroJo.
Maybe there is a lesson in there - its not about N7, or achievement points.
Maybe its about having fun?

[X]
Thats fine, generally as soon as I get one [X] that isnt in a lobby I know that is joking, I immediately leave.
If someone doesn't want me then I wont stay.

"I might need that later" leads to a very full end-game inventory.
I am not denying that, thus why I have over 100 of all level 4 consumables except Power Amplifier, and over 200 of all the level 1 consumables except shotgun and AR
I agree, it's fully your choice to equip and obviously not all people who don't equip don't play well. It's just from my own experience pugging platinum, that the majority of those who don't use equipment are also not often willing to use gels. As FireRider mentioned, it sort of demonstrates your commitment to the team and to the game. Not using equipment (or missile glitching) is the only reason I will kick from a game. I don't care if they're N7 1 (ok i know, they may not have equipment at N7 1
), if they equip, I won't kick them. Gold or silver, well I don't really care.. I only pug plat ![]()
I wish me and BroJo could have a 1v1 but I am on lolpeasetree.

TLDR; equipping consumables is a signal of commitment and not a signal of skill.

That's what I said.
However, if you take two people with the same skill, the player with equipment will be doing more damage than the player without.

I agree with you on both claims, I just tried to sum it up.
