I just found something in DA:O that in all my play throughs I never once stopped to talk to Mother Perpetus and Sister Theohild in Denerim afterwards I was laughing my butt off that was good.
What's your favourite part of DA:O?

The emotionally charged Origins, up to the death cut-scenes of Duncan and King Cailen at Ostegar truly are motivational and memorable for me. And I love the party banter, including their rescue of the Warden after a possible surrender at Howe's estate.

I've always enjoyed getting involved in my character and how I want my Warden to influence the world by for example being selfish and a prideful mage or being a kind and honorable Dalish. Being able to shape the story line after how I act is always a + in my book! ![]()
I also like reading the lore on the gaming and learning more and more about the world of Dragon age always helps me get more into the game! ![]()

I love the "Captured!" quest. I just wish they had decided to torture the warden. Its not creepy, it would just make it more personal. Maybe someone can mod it! My toolset is still stuck on the database error.

@ The Dalish - It makes me cry because without OOG knowledge to improve Coercion, it seems that you cannot persuade your foster-Mother to tell you about your real parents, and you leave without your rightful inheritance.
OTOH, this origin allows the Player to do something of real importance for their people continually through the game, as opposed to other origins that may lose motivational plotlines.

I love the whole Urn of Sacred Ashes questline, starting in Haven. It's got a delightfully old-school feel to it, right up to and including the fight with the enormous dragon.

Dead Trenches part of the deeproads
lothering for a odd reason xD
the reason the dead trenches was my favorite was it was dark, spooky, lots of darkspawn, and the broodmother around the corner.
plus killing darkspawn in that area was like a home area to them and invading and killing them part of being a warden was fun i thought =3

I found the final battle in Denerim pretty underwhelming. What made the battle (and possibly the game) for me was the Archdemon fight on Nightmare. Those ballistae...
There's also Captured which is a delight to play through.

I don't really have a favorite part. I really enjoyed the game as a whole. Replayed DAO (4 runs) more than ME trilogy (1 run).

There are so many memorable points in DAO. However, what touched me most was the sensitive development of Morrigan's character whilst you romance her - it would have been so easy to fall into oversimplification but her reactions constantly surprised me through a dozen playthroughs.

So many favorites. But my single most favorite moment in the game is when it's all over and Alistair/Anora call the PC up to the throne and introduce them as the hero of Ferelden. The first time I finished as a Cousland, I cried to see Fergus standing there. Very powerful.
Second favorite scene would be Bryce in the Gauntlet.
Honorable mentions:
Dalish leaving her clan.
Seeing Shriek-Tamlen
Leliana's singing in the camp (got a mod off Nexus so I can repeat that any time I like AND have a second song)
Confronting Howe on a Cousland (or City Elf)
Kicking the crap out of Caladrius and telling him "I should leave you to the mercies of the elves"

The Guardian at the gauntlet, & how your party reacts to what he says.
Hespith's...poem? in the Deep Roads. That was an inspired piece of writing.
I found the Unbound quest really intriguing, and the subsequent showdown with Gaxkang. It's still one of the on going stories that I am most interested in, and I don't really know why.
The fight for the anvil when you side with Branka. Just something about the notion of fighting a legend like Caridin in the ruins of an empire, for an incredibly powerful artifact, so far removed from the rest of civilization.
However number one would have to be walking through the Eluvian with Morrigan. Was just a really satisfying ending for my primary/canon Warden.
These are more story type events, there's too many dialogue moments to list.
