I believe the only major bug which Caratinoid was unable to fix was the shadow strike not working on atlas.
Pretty much everything else; fire delay on crusader, shockwave radius, typhoon DR, incendiary ammo, shield regen speed being affected by frame rate, to name just a few he had a fix for.
And he gave me something awesome, which wasn't a bug fix, but I deemed a necessary feature.
gimme the no delay crusader

By the way Anno, was Caratinoid able to "fix" the on host phantom DR? If not, is there a way of doing that, as far as you know?
It's bugged, but not in the way you think.
The biggest bug we agreed is that the client doesn't trigger evade moves on the phantoms for hit scan weapons.
The fix would be to modify how the client transmits hits to the host, so the host properly triggers evade (and thus DR) on the phantoms when the client shoots them.
This would mean the phantoms would be "working as bioware intended" and would get 75% DR for off-host players too.
Other than that, the DR only seems to stack occasionally, so I don't think there was ever anything concrete identified that caused it, though Cyonan would be your man for that one as he looked into it a lot more.
So the real "bug fix" for the phantom DR would make it so every player experienced the cartwheeling god mode girls.

I know, hence the quotes around fix
But yeah, I would like to make them behave like they do off host when I host too. Hax and all that, yeah.
Gonna try and ask Cyonan then, thanks ![]()

Derpbeer pls, on-host DR is the almost* only thing that prevents carebears from complete rape with any decent weapon + damage barrel + AP/Drill rounds
Gonna decide: warp/phasic ammo for dem phantoms or no penalty tripple hit for atlii.
It's actually somewhat fun to dance around with phantoms. But I'm a practicle rifle scrub and that means my opinion is an extremely biased.
*ammount of mobs being able to gate you in a pair of bursts is another little thing for them.

I don't really care if they became a complete rotflstomp faction. They already are, off host. I understand your opinion, and respect it. But to me, on host phantoms are annoying. Annoying as ****, to be precise. To the point where I cannot take it to fight cerberus on host without some sort of staggering capability. So I'd rather explore any way that helps me in getting them to behave like *I* think they should behave. We're talking about my lobbies, after all ![]()

Isn't there a stat to reduce the amount of DR the phantoms get though?

Well the thing is I kinda remember tinkering with it this time Air Quotes made a thread asking how to remove their on host DR.
Looking at Coalsced right now I "think" it was EvadeDamageScalePct and ShieldDamageScalePct, which are set at 0.25, suggesting they get 75% DR (which makes sense). I think I changed it to 1.0 (so as to remove it completely) and unless my mind was playing tricks, it seemed to work. Of course this was almost a year ago so I may be remembering totally wrong or maybe I was high on paint.

You are correct.
Removing phantom DR ruins the phantom as an enemy though, keep the DR I say and learn to shoot them while they cartwheel.

That's awesome, thanks!

I might start soloing once again... Maybe.
And Anno, thanks, I appreciate your opinion, but I don't need to learn to shoot them when they (don't) cartwheel. I already do, and it's still annoying as hell to me. I'll try it out and decide for myself
It's probably going to be a middle ground between 75 and 0...

Is Caratinoid still active, and/or does someone have these fixes? I'd be interested in the ones for Shockwave, sync-kill facing check, and FPS/shield regen. It'd also be neat to have the one that makes pugs feel the same Phantom DR pain the host does.

Yeah if only there wasn't a way to incur the mods wrath....
Also, I have some of the fixes, but not all of them for some reason. I don't know what I did with some of them, and I know I never tested a couple of them.

I was really surprised that *some* of this game's mech uses rendered frames as implementation rate, so to speak.
I was only aware that FGs use them as a basis, but they also use it for everything, and it's fixed, so even if you tinker with your video it doesn't go complete whack...

If you don't already know, you may find it educational to read back through the ancestry of the game engine, and realise that pretty much all the extant engines are technically legacy systems.
Basically, the way they work doesn't have to make sense according to current knowledge of how to build software.
