So yeah,,, first time poster here. First of all, good day(or night, depending on time zone) to all you people.

 

The question is very simple, but the resolution itself may not be. You see, I never bought the CE edition of ME3, since I started playing the franchise way after it was out already, so I just got the trilogy in one pack and call it a day. Looking at amazon and similar services, the prices for it are somewhat... exorbitant right now, if you can even get it. And I'm even not all that crazy about all the bonuses you get. I don't much care for the hoodie, the N7 weapons and I have From the Ashes as DLC.

 

One things i want however, are the extra sets of armor for squadmates. So... is there any chance of getting those, without buying CE?

 

The extra complication here is that I play the game on PS3.

 

I apologize if the topic itself is in the wrong section of the forum. If that is so, hopefully a moderator can move it to the correct section of the forum. If that's not the case, somebody point me in the right direction and close this one.

The only way to get the CE armors at this point is to purchase the CE. I'm in the same boat as you, even though I bought the game on the day it released.

 

Rather than purchase the CE on Amazon I'll probably wait until the series gets a Next Gen port (being discussed internally by Bioware).

So there is actually a reasonable chance that the trilogy will be ported to next gen? With all the DLCs included? I mean, that would make sense, but it still sounds too good to be true.

 

If that is so, then yes, that is certainly preferable way to go Thanks for the info.

Yeah sadly you have to use Amazon/Ebay in order to get it.  Most companies release the "exclusive" DLC on the PSN/XboxLive networks after a month or two past the release date.  I'm not sure why Bioware hasn't done so.  I know many who would drop 1$ to 5$ (which seem to be the average prices for preorder/CE dlcs) in order to get the other outfits.

That would have been a great solution. Release packets of content on PSN/XboxLive(hoodie/robotic dog, weapons, armors) and have each one priced accordingly. Like you said, somewhere between one and five dollars would be just great.

 

Granted, seeing I'm in Europe, that would be one to five euros, but I'd pay even that.

 

Why hasn't anybody thought of that? And who can we bother for it?

It will probably not happen because they have stopped doing any kind of updates for ME3.

The way I got them was cheaply bought the CE of ME3 for the PC as a digital download for like 4 dollars. Gave me all the CE stuff. For consoles though... that's tough because the physical copy usually ranks up pretty high on the price scale.

According to this wiki article, only for James, Ashley, Kaidan, and Liara. Note that I do not always trust the wiki as it can be wrong, but I think it is correct this time. Anyway, here is an image showing the CE squadmate armors which I think is accurate (note that I do not have it myself. I have seen the Liara one before on someone else's playthrough).

 

I searched online quickly for the bonuses that come with those packs. I found this. Here is a summary:

Liara: +25% power damage 

Ashley: +25% power recharge speed

Kaidan: +25% weapon damage

James: +25% shields

Liara's Justicar Outfit(best outfit for her IMO) I can't understand why they're not on the store actually has the ME2 collectors edition stuff made it on the PSN store
