I'd rather visit one country in a game and become really invested in it, than jump all over the place for a quick visit.
But why does that country have to be Orlais?

Kinda sad by this on one end and then not so much when I think about it. While it's nice to have all these countries to visit, downsizing it to 2 makes it to where we can discover more areas between them. We haven't seen any of Orlais yet so it's only fair we get to see as much as possible. If we doubled the amount of countries then it probably means less content you get to see in each individual country. Just as long as they keep to their promise the game will be big I'm okay with this.

I am undefeated after all.
Not true. I bested you earlier today when I proved Avatar State came first. ![]()

O_o Kishi had the storyboards for the Manga since 1997.
He first mentioned the "sage of six paths" concept in early 2004.
Go look it up.

>+< So honestly we don't know then.
Kishi originally proposed the concept in the 90s, it actually released before 2000 and he was writing up the storyboards for Shippuden through out the early 2000's.
I am willing to concede a draw here.

It was in the Abomination Thread. Lulu posted Hawke with Ander's Vengeance overlay so I joked "Hawke achieved the Avatar State" and it went from there.

Fair enough, since we don't know which was copyrighted first we'll say neither ripped off the either. ![]()
FUUUUUUCKK! I really wanted to go to Nevarra and the Free Marches DA:I! I wanted to see Starkhaven and Cumberland! I thought with Cassandra, we have a quest that leads us to Nevarra...That loading screen failed me. Oh well, I guess the positive thing is more to explore between Ferelden and Orlais.
I wanted so badly to visit tevinter and it's capital, Minrathous ![]()

To be fair, nobody ever said we were going to Tevinter. (Or the Anderfells, or Antiva, or Rivain.)

I know, I'm still expecting that since Dragon Age origins
. I'm a fool who still wants a sixth blight on thedas lol
Well it's still going to be a huge game, and better a more polished and focused game then a bigger one.
It's only a good thing if you believe that less places actually means these fewer places get more depth. Which is in no way guaranteed, as DA2 demonstrated quite painfully.I think it's a good thing. If we go to lots of places, then we have less time to give those places depth.

Well, I don't think DA2 would been better if we'd visited a bunch of caves in Nevarra, Tevinter and the Anderfels. DA2's problem wasn't it's lack of nominal geographic extent.
If DA2 had been further travelled I suspect it would have been worse, because those places would have been even shallower. And we'd have wasted the vital first impression for those places, to the detriment of the ongoing series.
I wonder if there will be an expansion pack? I understand it's too soon to tell, but just curious. ![]()
more than likely they said yeah we can go to all these places and make this game huge! then they looked at how much storage such a game needed and said whoa, um we'll just limit it to orlais and ferelden... im mad, but happy due to the fact that we will be exploring other countries in later games.... plus orlais is the biggest counrty which will make up for the whole multiple country thing... just shove more places into one space rather than shove a few places into a huge space
