So - the everlasting debate about the galaxy map....

Is the citadel the only place that will return from the previous game?
If so - is there a story as to why?

Has the citadel moved?

Or will we be able to fly to other 'old' locations?

Has anyone seen hints from trailers?

I haven't caught any hints as to whether or not we're returning to certain locations.  The videos I've seen of the galaxy map have shown names that don't ring a bell.  However, I'd be surprised if we aren't on the Citadel for at least a small portion of the game.  I'm sure it was rebuilt and I don't see why it would have moved.  I think I remember a scene btw. Shepard and Anderson that looked like it was on the Citadel anyway...
I'd also be interested in seeing how Ferros turned out!

Personally I was very impressed by the early videos of the ME1 galaxy map (pre-release).  I'm hoping the map navigation and transitions turn out to be more smooth and dynamic like those old videos.  ...And I'm not sure I like the little image of the Normandy flying around the map either...   Just reminds me more of something like Space Invaders instead of an advanced holographic navigational menu.

Well the citadel it the only place that was shown in a video. For the rest they have not confirmed anything as far as I believe.



But some Noveria expects for example would be transfered to ME2. Not sure if you visit there but atleast you will hear something about that.
