When it comes to naming a ship in the ME universe, you have to follow strict guidelines per class of ship.
Systems Alliance Frigates are all named after historic battles on Earth.
Systems Alliance Cruisers are named after large cities on Earth.
Systems Alliance Carriers are named after great humans throughout history.
Systems Alliance Dreadnoughts are named after mountains on Earth.
There is a list of human frigates with names already taken, but when it comes to great battles in human history, we have a huge list to choose from.

SSV Astley... Who is obviously never gonna give you up...
SSV Scrap Heap, to honor quarian engineering. Its really the fastest ship on fleet.
SSV Gibraltar, SSV Ibiza, SSV Key West, SSV Everest, SSV Cape Agulhas.. and so on.
