So, I was looking through concept art for DA:I and I came across this one. I hadn't seen it before, but I imagine that it has been discussed to death on these boards. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what that artifact is that the soldier is holding. Those ruins have the symbol of the Inquisition on them. Is it some sort of lyrium? Some ritualistic artifact? A weapon to fight demons? Gwildor's Cosmic Key?
I'm guessing that it is a key for the door that they've excavated.
Could be. There does seem to be some sort of circular slot near the bottom of that door. That makes me wonder what is in those ruins. Will be be excavating in DA:I?

wouldn't be the first tme... I'm fairly sure there is one with a bald female inquisitor, speaking of can anyone actually tell if this one is male or female, and I don't mean assumes because isn't a big breasted and half naked.

Well it seems the old Inquisition had secrets , and strange looking tool/key?
It's possible the current Inquisition will try to uncover the Inquisition past , because to be honest history is pretty slim.
All we know is after Andraste death , chaos was everywhere and some people decided to form some kind of vigilante club ...
There's also the artwork with all the "Watchers" statues pointing their finger at the sky , possible it's not the first time the veil got torn up.
