I rly hope that this time they allow us rp instead just giving pc their own features like dalish who have to follow dalish culture or annoying family that my pc have to care...
As i said already i would prefer get blank character like in skyrim then when someone ask me about something like relations with parents or our past we can answer various responses.
In truth I do not care that much as long as it makes reasonable sense. It always bothered me in DAO that I'm a new Grey Warden initiate who suddenly has instant credibility who the "veteran" Alistair follows around. It would have been great to get a "so how long you been a Warden?" Followed by a "three months! P*ss off!"
Those backgrounds are going to need to be carefully crafted to make sense with regard to character race being placed in charge of the "inquisition." I'm having a hard time imagining any credible background story for a Qunari having that level of authority.
