Unless you choose the classic maps like glacier. You can successful platinum with collectors on glacier on PS3. It has the added bonus the scions had a hard time hitting you, since nobody I know likes them shooting their loads all over you.

Screw that! After investing all that time for one maxed manifest I would have no interest in doing it again. Maybe if you could max in a reasonable amount of time (600+ hours is extremely unreasonable) I could understand that, but not for this game.
Hmm .. I started another alt account yesterday .. got a Krolord and a Valiant.
And yes, it gets easier every time you start another account. When you roll recruit packs early (and some VP's) you acquire a useable amount of in game consumables and equippable consumables. Whereas on the first account I focused solely on buying PSPs right away .. so I never had consumables to use early on. That ammo mod 1 and cyclonic 1 is a huge upgrade on using nothing .. and allows for a transition to Gold as soon as you level up a couple classes ...

Exactly, I would rage quit all over again if I constantly receive Cryo Ammo IVs in my packs!
