Just think of it as "transferring" your already maxed Xbox manifest.

I haven't found it too hard with my two alt accounts. It helps that I know what works for me and I have friends that will play gold and plat with me despite me being a low level and having low level weapons and equipment. I think I'm doing ok so far

On topic, I have a ps3 acct that I play rarely. But in terms of RNG luck, it doesn't seem to be bad, just that I have weapons & characters that I prefer so when I get ones that I don't use as much, I feel like I'm being trolled a bit. But it's not actually the case; I just want certain things sooner so I can play more comfortably on ps3, not that the RNG has given me bad results. 

 

I did get a solid troll once:

 

During the last Spectre challenge, I did one of the trios with FOP & DR. I think DR used a Destroyer/Typhoon, and I only had a Paladin/Crusader. 

 

Well, in my very next pack after we finished the challenge, I got a Typhoon.

You're just like me then. Hacking credits is bad, buffing sentry turret to 50000 damage is perfectly legal

But seriously, individual perception of what's bad and what's ok is very diverse. I would never hack my credits but I did do some stuff with the coalesced that for some people would consider a game breaking hax. Where do you draw the line?

That itself is an excellent question. For SP games, I have and will modify the game files for my own amusement. For MP games however it would feel like cheating to modifying the files but I would love to play those games with a possessed abomination hordes or Geth Prime hordes (to torture myself of course). I think with people spending so many hours trying to max their manifest, I would feel like a douche just maxing in several hours with hax. It would invalidate their dedication to the game, etc. That is just my opinion though.

On my alt, I'm actually doing pretty good in terms of unlocks. On my main, I spent too much time on silver to even make a lot of credits fast to unlock stuff faster. This time I know what packs to buy. Gear is roughly almost done, so are my characters and rare weapons. Lucked out and pulled a Venom IV within the first week of starting the alt. I was really happy that I attributed it to the RNG loving the genius of my second tag. I'm unlocking stuff a lot faster now.

But you have already done that. If it were your first account and you did it I would agree, but for a second account I see nothing wrong with it.

I just started an alt account, have about 10 hours logged, and its definitely going waaaay faster- already playing Gold (thanks to unlocking a Geth Trooper and a Piranha in my first Reserve Pack), whereas I played silver and bronze for a long time on my first account.

 

Also, I forgot what its like only having 2 medi-gel! No room for error!

But you have already done that. If it were your first account and you did it I would agree, but for a second account I see nothing wrong with it. 

 

I cannot explain it but it just feels wrong to me. Besides, I am not sure how much longer I will be playing this game to warrant spending several hours spending packs. I would play for the modded games.

I've only been playing on my second account for about 250 hours and I have more ultra rares than I had on my first account at 250 hours. In fact, I don't think I even had my uncommons maxed at 250 hours on my previous account. And there were less things in the game then.

 

This time around you weren't scaling the manifest ladder blindly or without previous experience or friends to play with, so I assume that returning to gold and platinum very quickly and accumulating a lot more credits would negate the relativity of hours or games played.

No second account. I don't see the point in grinding for another manifest.

 

It's more about playing with new people on a new system, rather than going through the manifest grind.

I mean, my manifest isn't maxed yet but I got a lot more than 12 double ur packs.

 

Mathematically on average you should get 8 double UR packs whilst attempting to get your 210 ultra rare upgrades (assuming none of your ultra rares came from spectre packs). If you got more than that and its taken a long time to max your manifest (or close to maxing) then that's the equivalent of saying you have been super duper trolled by the store.
