Actually Tal-Vashoth leave the Qun. Vashoth were born outside of the Qun and never exposed to it.

The  impression that Vashoth is anyone who leaves or is removed from the Qun.  Tal Vashoth are those who actively fight the Qun.

Fromteh Tal Vashoth codex:

Qunari, Seer said, are people who follow the Qun. Her people. Those born into Qunari society who reject the Qun are called Vashoth, which means "gray ones". These gray ones must leave their homes, for they have no place among the Qunari. Sadly, many turn against the society that cast them out.

These outcasts call themselves Tal-Vashoth, "the true gray ones". Often, they have no skills to make an honest living, so they sell themselves into service, usually becoming mercenaries. Even the most inept fighter among the Qunari race possesses prodigious size and an intimidating visage. These, she informed me, were my attackers in the countryside, the same band that wreaked such havoc on Vindaar.

The Tal-Vashoth wage a bitter war against the Qun, the Qunari, and sometimes against order itself. They are no match for the Qunari army, so they generally strike at farms, travelers, and those who stray too far from Qunari protection. I was lucky to escape with my life.

Yeah I checked after I wrote that. You are correct.  I thought I had read something different in the comments about vashoth.

I dont think the inquisition only consists of fifty troops, Orlais is too large for fifty men to have any major presence. To your second point, i dont think anyone takes the Inquisition lightly plus the troops seem too disciplined and well equipped for them to just blindly follow anyone. Like i said before that unique power we speculate about alone doesnt make a leader, the smartest thing to do is higher a general and have your character point in the direction that he should go, but that isnt the case

Remember, I said at the beginning. The Inquisition troops you mention appear at a point where the Inquisition has already several keeps (the first we'll get seems to be the castle some people have been calling "Skyhold", plus the desert keep we see being conquered in the demo and the keep in Crestwood), so it's already the militaristic organization you mention.

However, to get to that point the Inquisition had to grow. Again, my guess it's that at the beginning of the game there won't be really many competitors for the post, nor many people to complain about it, so the guy or gal with miraculous powers that can close the Veil Tears may seem a good choice for the initial bunch of volunteers.

My real question would be how they will force the protagonist to be the Inquisitor if he or she doesn't want to. One of my most entertaining playthroughs in DA:O was with a Warden that was always complaining about it. There were several funny dialogue choices that surprised NPCs who thought (wrongly) that you were a very willing hero.

Good points, that would actually be something I'd look forward to, some sort of mechanic that allows your troops to grow in stats and visually. Only time will tell, though it has been hinted that something like that would happen.

I don’t think inquisitor will be at peace conference or important at all the beginning.

I think that they will be in the city that the peace conference is being held in but won’t be attending it.

They will most likely be on some errand to retrieve some resource that their community needs and head home but while in the city the conference is attacked the veil is torn and demon start falling from the sky and killing everyone. The PC is the only one that escapes however during the escape something happens to the inquisitor that gives them special power to close the tears in the veil

@misticsan I think it will be for protection from the main antagonist if the inquisitor has special ability to close the veil tear then they are the only that can stop the antagonist plans so the inquisitor will be hunted by these agents of chaos and the only way to survive is to kill the main antagonist this lord of chaos or lords. However this doesn’t account for if the inquisitor doesn’t care if they live or dies. After all my dalish elf would rather die amongst her clan then become a grey warden

I begin to suspect that this game will be like Origins, in that all of the Inquisitor's backgrounds will exist as characters... all of them will be at the peace conference, as they're all important representatives from somewhere, but all but one of them will die, and the survivor becomes the Inquisitor.

That may be likely. I'm also hoping the player can decide how their character feels about the peace conference the protagonist is attending, as to whether they agree with it's objectives, or if they disagree with the overall goal.

Why would the Dalish necessarily be consulted though for the peace conference? Or why would a Tal-Vashoth/Vashoth be present?

If there's an elven uprising as a result of the end of "The Masked Empire", the Dalish protagonist may be the Keeper or First of a respective clan who may be attending at the behest of the clans assembled for the Arlathvhen.

Why would the Dalish necessarily be consulted though for the peace conference? Or why would a Tal-Vashoth/Vashoth be present?

The Vashoth may be a potential ally, given the suspicion that the Qunari are going to be planning another invasion of the Andrastian kingdoms of Thedas, given what Sten and the Arishok has said (as well as the revelation about Qunari spies in Thedas).

If the peace conference idea has been scrapped, I think it would be awesome if there were a battle (for an important artifact or weapon maybe) involving each of the relevant parties (a group of humans, a group of Dalish elves, a group of surface dwarves, and a group of Vashoth).

Essentially, each of the possible Inquisitors would be fighting/trying to kill all the others.

Then "the event" happens and your player character is the only one who survives (for whatever reason, maybe you acquired the artifact).
