I didn't know that the end of January was "holidays season"

How is it Bioware's fault that you bought points for something that didn't exist?
Why would you even do that in the first place? There is no 'pre-order' bonus for add-ons.

Anyone who buys something that's effectively vaporware at the time of purchase deserves precisely what they get. They (pointlessly) gambled on an ETA being accurate and lost.

You've all still bought and own the thing. Now you just have to wait for "shipping." Grow some patience! Even in the information age, it's a virtue.

Seriously? Another thread? Have you nothing better to do with your time than agonize and complain over a false sense of entitlement for a 40 minute DLC that was bugged? Be glad the company DID pull back on the release for all platforms. I've known companies to just release it anyway, and allow you to suffer the effects of the bug while they work on it.
If that's your thing, then fine. Personally, I'm not into S&M.

I bought my points, and I'm not pissed. Why is everyone pissed? It's not like they cancelled RTO or anything...
Now if they actually DID...

What false sense of entitlement? Generally when you give someone money for a product you actually get a product! Unless my logic on this whole buying thing is wrong?

On second thought, let's not go there. It tis a silly place.

You did get the product you bought. You have your game points.
There is nothing in any of Terms of Service or User End Agreement statements I can find that says that I've directly bought a DLC when I pay for points. I've only bought an assurance that I will be able to get DLC when they come out, with said points.

seriously... it baffles me how pissed people manage to get over one little DLC...
I admit that I face daily disappointment whenever I log onto dragon age and find the dlc as yet nonexistant... but I don't have to have it "NOW OR NEVER!!!1!". I just open up Red Alert 3 and kill some tanks... pretty fun.

No rebuttle about the actual thread, other than a thin attack with little substance, not unlike my own first post?
Mainstream american politics and media has taught you and I well.

I fear people now think that RtO will be amazing, and I'm quite sure that there will be a huge wave of disappointment after it's release. Calm down, 'tis really nothing special.
