I would like to see more contact between the inquisitor and his companions. It would be nice (during a cut scene for example) to have a character put his arm around a comrades shoulder or his hand at the waist of his love interest. Any kind of physical contact really. People hug, shake hands etc. all the time in real life. Of course I don't know how easy or difficult it is but it would be nice. What do you think?

Shepard did it, so I see no reason for the Inquisitor to not do so.

But that was usually a Paragon Interrupt. I would really like to see more familiarity too.

It would depend on the situation. As the leader of an army the Inquisitor would have to be careful not be seen engaging in favoritism. If the commander is giving out orders to the troops putting hands around a love interest may not be seen favorably by the troops.
I would be like Aveline as Captain of the Guard putting her arm around Dominic while giving orders to the guards. The use would have to be situational.

I think physical contact is what is the hardest to do in cutscenes, from the animators point of view.

I'd like this as well. We've already seen Cassandra comfort Varric by squeezing his shoulder in cutscenes, so why not?

True, but that might be how they do it. While some players would see a hug as something they'd do, others may not.

I would love this. Love, love, love. Could be limited to a "camp" type area to avoid favoritism issues as mentioned above. Once a certain approval level is reached, you get to shake hands or something. And more of these little things throughout.

I love this idea too
Touch is so expressive... I've watched enough cutscenes to surmise that natural physical interaction is hard to animate (especially with multiple races, I'd assume), but if it becomes easier to do it could add a new layer to our companion relationships that I'd enjoy.

I like the idea. They should be interrupts of sorts though, this kind of stuff can get out of character and rub off people if it's automatic.

I wouldn't mind it, but I don't expect it!
