wrex? really? how long have you been in this forum? miranda, jacob, and tali get the most hate. i dont think ive ever seen anyone hate on wrex.
miranda because she's a little cocky and extremely hard to kill in the suicide mission
jacob because he is not very interesting compared to most characters and because he's....well thats another story.
tali because she's popular and some people just have to hate what ever is popular.

wrex is brilliant i like the direction bioware have taken with the kogan, you just know its gonna turn around and bite you in the arse if you killed of wrex in m.e.1!

I think "hate" is a rather strong word that people throw around loosely.
I understood wrex's position, but we had a mission, and there was no real indication a cure had been actually found.
I hadn't done his personal quest, so I didn't have much of a choice.
However, I consider the krogan a threat to the galaxy as well. His race is too hostile for my taste. I mean even faced with extinction they'd rather fight than study/find a cure?
I guess that makes them stupid as well. It's amazing they even developed technology with that attitude.
That being said, I have no problem killing wrex, and likely will on each play.
Yes, he's tough, no doubt, but I'm a soldier, so I don't actually need him, and the galaxy doesn't need a krogan resurgence, were a cure to be found.
