I think I just found my best friend.

I immediately liked him and thought he was funny. When I soon discovered I could flirt with him and he would be sweet and awkward with me, I was sold, haha. Then our romance ended after the Landsmeet, and my love for him has not fully recovered ever since.

My first 'meeting' with Alistair was in DA2. I liked him so much (actually had a sense of humour) that I then played DAO. Thankful for it because I love DAO more

My first impression was "this goofy guy is supposed to be the romance option"? Then he started speaking and before I was even out of Ostagar I was hooked. I blame Steve Valentine! Love his voice. ![]()

Shows what I know about women. As a guy (who sometimes will roll female characters), I find his approach kind of creepy. But then, maybe I should? lol. He just seems to signal his intentions right away. Kind of like Zevran. I never got this impression with Leliana.

I actually felt Leliana ventured into the creepy zone, at least after you've slept with her. She says something about watching your eyelashes as you sleep? ![]()

I liked the fact he was dedicated to the cause; trustworthy. That was my impression from day 1 of my first game

Hm, I tend to gravitate towards more light-hearted characters so I did like Alistair when I first met him. He seemed a bit obnoxious but I liked his silly quips.
I just wished I got a bit more from his relationship with Duncan. His whining about it got tiresome, sometimes. I didn't see their bond at all, just a heavy farewell.

We only got the bare bones of the relationship... Very little about Alistairs life as a warden. But clearly Alistair thought of Duncan as father figure, especially after his (real or perceived) rejection by Eamon and the utter lack of a relationship with Maric. I agree it would have been nice to have more detail as it forms an important driver for Alistair s character.Hm, I tend to gravitate towards more light-hearted characters so I did like Alistair when I first met him. Indeed. We get the real feeling of abandonment that Alistair got from his childhood and you can definitely see why he would have such affection for Duncan and the Grey Wardens. I'd have liked more stories from before he died.

I would like to have the option of fighting Alistair only so I could kill him. My Warden has no time for sensitive little girls......I mean boys or whatever its supossed to be.
