I really want to see shale again in DAI, I mean I doubt she would be a companion (would be epic if she were). I want to know if she ever got turned back to her "fleshy" dwarven self or is still a golem! Does she get more of her memories back and could she help with the inquisition??? 

 

Shale to return or not to return that is the question!

I don't know why, but I'd much rather not see her in Inquisition and would prefer to have her as a companion in the next game. I don't even understand why, but hey, that's how I feel.

But that being said, I wouldn't mind Shale returning in Inquisition. I at least want her back someday, to give her another chance. To clarify:

I never liked Shale. Too whiny, arrogant, cynical. I hated her in Origins, in fact. But Asunder somehow changed that for me and now I like her again, even in Origins.

I think they've hinted that her story is done, but you never know. I'd definitely like to see her if possible.

Personally, I'd kind of want to save Shale's re-appearance for a possible trip into Tevinter, where maybe we can help/hinder her attempts to curse herself with squishiness.

She's such a great character!  Even a cameo would be splendid. 

 

I know they can't put in everyone's favourite character.   I understand that that would make the game a self-indulgent mess.  Really, I do. 

 

But getting Shale and Varric in the same room for a bit of story-swapping?  Especially if she's got some more of her memory back?  Lovely.  Just lovely.

Suddenly a theory popped into my head that one of the two companions we on BSN are not really sure about is Shale in dwarf form. Please, go away. Though I wouldn't mind another dwarf companion. Just having Varric as the dwarf for two games in a row..... I like him, but please give me more dwarf.

Though I'd rather see a new dwarf companion. Doesn't matter who or what, as long as it's a dwarf. I'll be a little disappointed if just dwarf Varric joins the Inquisitor.

Considering she is still a Golem after going to Tevinter with Wynne, I am pretty certain she will be a Golem if we see her again.

That said, it would be cool to see her, but I don't see any DLC character being promoted past "easily removed cameo" ala Kasumi and Zaaed in Mass Effect 3.

Since the Dwaren Inquisitor is a Cadash I'd be very surprised if we didn't see Shale.

I was never fond of her. Personality aside, she has no talent for knockdown immunity. Some golem you are, felled by a stiff breeze.

 

Hopefully her appearance in Inquisition, if any, will be limited to a cameo or an offhand reference. Dedicating resources to make a new model for her would be wasting them.

I thought she was the best looking golem in the game, specially after you add those crystals. They look very pretty and slimming!

Since the Dwaren Inquisitor is a Cadash I'd be very surprised if we didn't see Shale.
