I think it would be a nice little side quest for ME3.

He might start questioning me over my motives, and do I have a good job and all that other fatherly crap

'Do you have a good job'
'I'm a spectre'
'Oh'
Also it is quite unlikely seeing as Liara doesn't know and Benezia, who presumable did know, is not available for questioning.

I always got the impression that whoever it was might be dead.

No, no, and no. Not everything needs to be in the game. I don't want to meet Ashley's sister, Wrex's mom, or Kaidan's old girlfriend.
I think it'd be awesome - its in the detail

She looks like Liara more so than Benezia.
I could be totally wrong though

I see some obvious similarities.

yup...both Asari for a start
lol, I meant besides that. Look at the noses, and the lips.
As for Samara, I very seriously doubt it. Everyone keeps saying that, but I think it's just because shes the only Asari playing a major role in this game as a companion.

He? It was said already in ME1 that Liara is the product of two Asari's joining....Benezia are her other asari lover.

Yes, and sense Casey Hudson clearly states they are not even counted as femalesThen that means the proper term is it, or funbags.

I think there "funbags" should be there Biotic powers, like stop using there hands to wave around the force and just point with there chests, it's basically how it works in real life, if a woman points at a man with her chest he will do whatever she asks, so the theory is the same here too.

or maybe samara is Liara's sire.

I was under the impression her side story involved her doppleganger, that other Asari she Falcon Punches in the face. I still think she has nothing to do with Liara.
