I forget the name but the map where it has the snow alternate. Might be glacier. It's got the jet on the landing zone. Go Down the stairs and through the building to the very far corner of that map and get behind the cover blockade right next to the doorway. You should be able to see into the building and straight toward where they come down the outside stairs. Ammo crate is right next to you in case you need to shoot. Use that spot and let them come to you. Use cerberus for the easiest grabs. For the most points use the blizzard hazzard version. Probably could even do it on silver. That blows through them pretty fast. I know I was taking forever with them and decided to do that to just get it done. Silver was a bit more of a hassle at times because they don't always come to you. Basically it's a grind but the blizzard version add xp and it also doesn't matter because in that location there is no blizzard as you have an awning over your head.

Good idea using the hazard version! You're referring to FBWhite. I set it for Gold Reapers. Doing wave 1 and bleeding out on wave 2 you can get about 25 husk kills with a few marauders and cannibals thrown in in about 5 minutes. I use Asari Valkyrie because small radius annihilation field keeps the husks from jumping over the barrier at you. (Large radius AF makes them stop outside of grab range.) At the end of the wave when the marauders and cannibals pile up against the barrier you can use tech armor to blow them back into grab distance. This setup is nice for working on annihilation field, biotic explosions, medals earned, tech armor, reaper mastery, grabs, and headshots simultaneously.

Edit: This only really works as a solo, of course.

Farming for grabs? Lol.

Seriously, do it the proper way, just play normally and you'll get them quick enough. Grabs are easy, you shouldn't have to farm them at all. :?

Not to mention it's just so much more fun that way, rather than sitting in bronze hiding behind a counter :P

If you're planning on doing this for normal games (i.e. not grab-oriented games, not solos, and you'd rather finish the round and extract instead of DC-ing) with other players who won't hesitate to kill your intended grab targets, Cerberus / Dagger Hazard seems appropriate; the worsened visibility will make it slightly less likely that heads will explode leaving you dragging air, and all the cover in the outdoors killing ground provides a decent number of opportunities for enemies to take cover and make themselves vulnerable to your intended shenanigans.

White does have that counter, but it'll also attract players rushing to nuke the lower-level spawn before the enemies even make it to you.

i use white/reapers/gold. out the back door of the basement is some low cover with an ammo box behind it.

wave 1 you can get 25 to 35 or so grabs. takes about 5 minutes. for max time efficiency let them kill you at start of wave 2.

here's my big tip. be sure to fidget your character around a bit because if you dont move for 2 minutes you get kicked out of the game.

it definitely sucks to get kicked out of your own solo mission! this has happened to me twice. the fidgeting can just be some sideways movement while in cover. the grab animation DOES NOT count as player movement.

Just solo bronze on glacier or white. You'll get em. I got the DOW banner doing them at fb white, it's a little bit of a grind.

Rio? I never get more than one on it

I can usually get 3 grabs on it regularly if I'm by the bridges. Best maps imo for grabs are ghost (both hazard and regular), White, Glacier, Giant, Jade (surprisingly), Hydra.

The best maps for grabs are : White, Giant, Dagger, Glacier, London and Vancouver. You can get grabs on the others, but they're more difficult for farming on.

Since a grab counts the same no matter the difficulty, I recommend bronze.

Giant is by far the easiest from what I can tell- Cerberus and Collector troopers ALWAYS come up the ramp and take cover behind the first counter in the control room. If you can't get 20-30 grabs in the first two waves, you're doing something wrong.

I've made this in response to this thread.

Good luck. You won't really need it.

The high ground on London is good for it with most enemies.

No seems to have said it yet, so imo White/Reapers/Gold is best. Just use a tanky character, and run down behind the diagonal barrier by the ammo crate in the far corner from the LZ. First wave of gold is mostly husks, so they'll just keep charging in for you to grab. Sit more to the inside of the wall to make sure they come within grabbing range consistently. If you get overwhelmed, just run to the L-shaped set of barriers and repeat until you've lured everything away from your corner. Repeat and profit.
