I knew some of the origin stuff made the warden naked if the warden was equipped with them meeting the Architect. How about the Witch Hunt stuff or the Golem of Amgarrak stuff will that also make you naked. Should I assume that I can only walk in with items from awakening?

I'm not aware of a definitive list of items. Hopefully someone else is. Here is a discussion of items that have triggered the bug.

One theory is that the experimental subject will have matching stats to the character whose items they end up with. If you're using items to boost your stats in order to equip certain pieces, they won't be able to equip it and everything you had equipped will disappear and you'll be naked. Its also possible that the experimental subject will only have attribute points equal to the amount gained from level ups, and won't be able to reach your level in certain stats, because you have points from the Fade, tomes, and the like. So if you're wearing armor that requires 42 STR, and you just have  45, the experimental subject may only have 41, and won't be able to wear that armor. IDK if this has been tested or not. Try saving before you go into the mine, then unequip everything, and make sure that your 'naked' stats are enough to put everything back on, with points to spare. If you can't get your armor on or equip your bow without the Key to the City and Harvest Festival ring, leave it in inventory and equip a crappier version with lower stat requirements.

Oh, that's really interesting!

The other reason for the bug usually offered is mod-added gear, but I've had it triggered by (of all things) the Dusk Ring that Nathaniel Howe comes equipped with. (And that with one of the community fixes installed. File under: 6 hours spent debugging that I'll never get back.)

I don't think using tomes has any impact.I think you simply have to have sufficient strength to equip any gear you have, and you'll be ok.

I really, really hate this bug.

I think the No Helmet mod causes issues as well. It seemed to be the cause on my last playthrough.

Has anyone tried entering the mines with you and your companions stripped? If not, I may have to do this. By equipping yourself from the darkspawn you should be way better equipped than the experimental subjects. And it would be funny.

Ran into that even with the fix in-place. What fixed it for me was to reload a save prior to entering the mine, and entering again. Of course, foolish me didn't make a save right prior to it, so I had to load a save from several hours earlier. -_-

@mousestalker - Yes I tried this. The mage subjects are clad in generic mage robes while the warrior and rogue subjects are clad in generic heavy and light armors. All of them are without the boots, gloves and head gear.
