I think iconic armor for each specialization class would be nice (Templar, Blood Mage, Reaver, etc).

Legion of the Dead armor.
May it make a return so I can slap it on my gigantic qunari ass.

I wouldn't mind a default armor that our inquisitor wear the entire game. But I would prefer to be able to change my armor/robes. My only worry and complaint is having to deal with the long hair styles glitching through the armor/robes I mean it REALLY irritates me to no end, I mean the same problem in both DAO AND Da2 grrrrr. anyway yea I would prefer to be able to keep changing my armor through out the game.

Sure, so long as it can be upgraded and customized.

As long as the basic armor type isn't stronger then most unique armor.  I don't that much.  However, if the most ridiculous mage hat has the highest status, then I'll take the basic hat type.

I like iconic armor sets.  I like the feeling of accomplishment when I manage to get my hands on them and make my character prance around in them.  But yeah, I'd like variety, too.  Some really interesting sets, some more mundane.  Like, in the past I always stuck my Warden in the Blood Dragon armor as soon as I was able, but in my last playthrough I realized I really love how she looks in Cailan's armor.  It was nice to have options.

I don't mind the idea of signature or "pinnacle" armor, but I do object to there only being one set per class.  Luckily, we should be able to avoid that in Inquisition by crafting our own high-stats, ultimate armor.

Must admit that I'm not sure I care that much. Though I wouldn't want Bioware to advertise any kind of canon or default, I think it diminishes the genre.

I wouldn't mind either way, but I think it would be cool if we could dye our armor to increase customization.

I don't mind iconic set, as long as i can customize it within reason. Mage Champion set was too generic, compared to DLC or even various vanilla robes (no % element damage).

I like the iconic armor sets.  I loved the Champion armor in DA2.  The warrior, mage, and rogue packs I and II had some really nice pieces in them.  Rogue is my favorite class and I wear Loghain or Maric armor all the time in-game now.  I was not happy you could only sell them for a copper.

I would just like variety and really good stat choices.

I loved the sets in DAO also.  Was always disappointed that the Warden didn't have more variety.  I also enjoyed changing my companions armor.  Have always missed that from DAO.   I know this is not coming back but still enjoyed this.  I know they will be upgradable, so long as we see the changes I'll deal with it.

No dont worry we will be able to switch our companions equipment again ;) . They said so in the PAX demo.

I'd like both options. I like to roll with as many varied PCs as I can so I could totally see one PC wearing the "iconic" armour while another mix-matches sets.

And apparently there'll be racial armours? The wiki says that these are "preferred armour styles by race."
