I am really hoping for a pre-load as well. To have to start loading on release day would be a nightmare as the speeds would be laughable.

I've started a diferent post informing our fellow forumites of what services are already starting their pre-load so that people can get organized and not stomp the servers so that all can play (US side) at the 26th (lucky bastards).

I looked on Steams website and it appears they are not offering preloading, however, Impulse and Direct2Drive are.

Do you honestly think they would sit by while their competitors allow pre-loading? Especially in a game release this big? (it's been in the top 10 sellers on Steam since it was available)

Bah, shouldn't have downloaded so much anime this month



Already over my limit (resets on 26th) because of it. I didn't expect to buy the steam version but my patience was running dry since I have to wait to long for Play.com to deliver here...



Anyways, I hope preloading starts soon and perhaps steam would be so nice as to unlock the game a bit earlier seeing as we're already being left behind by damn pirates...

Im fact im having confirmations from all my friends that use all Digital services that they are unlocking Pre-load services worldwide, my advice (if you wish to follow Europeans) is to start Pre-loading monday so not to jam the servers speeds for the americans (we only get the game unblocked the 29th anyway so we got time).

Nothing on steam for the americans? EU zone still blocked. Its the last service waiting to activate Pre load all others are running.

Lets wait a bit, its 12:49 PST now at california so after lunch ill check again. Fact is that they are the last digital service to start Pre Load thought.
