So we know that Inquisition will be released in the fall of 2014

Fall (according to the roman calender) is: September 23th-December 20th

Also note, Bioware really likes Tuesdays:

Tuesday, May 1st 2007: Mass Effect Revelation

Tuesday, November 20th 2007: Mass Effect

Tuesday, July 29th 2008: Mass Effect Ascension

Tuesday, November 3rd 2009: Dragon Age Origins

Tuesday, March 3rd 2009: Dragon Age Stolen Throne

Tuesday, October 13th 2009: Dragon Age The Calling

Tuesday, January 26th 2010: Mass Effect 2

Tuesday, March 16th 2010: Dragon Age Origins Awakening

Tuesday, July 27th 2010: Mass Effect Retribution

Tuesday, March 8th 2011: Dragon Age 2

Tuesday, December 20th 2011: Dragon Age Asunder

Tuesday, March 6th 2012: Mass Effect 3

Tuesday, January 31st 2012: Mass Effect Deception

Tuesday, April 8th 2014: Dragon Age Masked Empire

Tuesday, August 12 2014: Dragon Age Last Flight

So all possible release dates for Dragon Age: Inquisition are:

September 23rd

September 30th

October 7th

October 14th

October 21st

October 28th

November 4th

November 11th

November 18th

November 25th

December 2nd

December 9th

December 16th

Which date do you think it will be?

I really hope they didn't purposefully release all those things on a Tuesday and it's just a crazy coincidence. That'd be fantastic.

Also, I have no idea. It could be any of them.

The game industry in general likes Tuesdays. It's a very common day for major releases. Someone explained the financial logic behind it once, but I can't remember the details.

LOL, that'd be funny if gaider popped in and was like:

"Eh, We like to have Wednesdays off every once and a while..."

Yup, almost all games release on Tuesdays with some exceptions like Nintendo. I have seen a few big games come out on Fridays recently, like Infamous: Second Son.

It's not just games - it's also music, dvds/blurays, books, etc.

I always assumed games released on Tuesday because sales figures were reported on Mondays and they want to maximize first week earnings.  I might be totally wrong though.

I hope it's November 18th (my birthday finally fell on a Tuesday, free game woo)!  Also, whatever Call of Duty title comes out will probably be the week before.

In North America, all games come out on Tuesdays. The only exception are rare, planned events like Skyrim's 11-11-11 being a Friday.

And Nintendo games (I said Sundays originally, but I think their games are... Fridays?  and consoles are Sundays)

You'd think they'd want release on a friday so people can quickly piay it over the weekend. Anyway nice work noticing this. As much as I want it to be released in september I expect it will be released in late November.

I'm feeling October, but November isn't too far off.

I really hope it isn't October 28th or November 4th. The first is just a few days before PAX Australia. I hope BioWare come to the convention again, and I want to be enjoying their panels instead of fleeing spoilers. And on November 4th I'll be on holiday - don't really want to spend my trip jealous of all the people playing DAI without me.

So if any publishers are reading this and looking to decide the release date based on my whims: any other time in northern autumn is good for me, kthanx.

I personally hope it will be late October or November. I'll have to write two term papers next semester and those are probably due in early October.

Mostly games released on Tuesday in USA and Friday in Europa This is why we bitching about getting games 2 days later it is bullshit. It have to do something whit shops. basicly it doesn't make sense for customers but make sense for someone.

The later the better, I don't mind waiting. Late November, even December. That way I will actually study during exam time, and not procrastinate playing Dragon Age Inquisition :P

Are Bioware games one of those which come out in North America before anywhere else?
'Cause if so, I'll be spending a couple of days gritting my teeth and sabotaging my internet connection to avoid spoilers.

I'd thought there'd be an actual release date in this topic, not just speculation on one.
