From an RP perspective, a straight Liara run (ME1-ME3) makes sense for a Shep that does not believe in fraternization since Liara is non-Alliance. If you are going for Traynor in ME3 then romancing Kaidan in ME1 makes sense since you can a) leave him to die on Virmire (mission over personal feelings) or b ) dump him after the way he treats you on Horizon. A Shep who romanced Kaidan in ME1 shows she is not above fraternization.
Traynor or Liara = You Decide for me.

Liara. Traynor is the only one who belongs on a warship less than Liara.

I can´t like Cortez, Traynor nor Vega. For some reason, the new characters introduced in ME3 failed to impress me. They all seem artificial and forced in some way. Not just about promoting the gay agenda, but also to please fanboys and girls with Mary-Sue like characters or newbies (in the form of Vega) who do not know the trilogy. They were all wasted opportunities for more strong and interesting characters. Kai-Leng (I know, he existed in books) was also a letdown for me. Javik and Edi were exceptions for me, since I liked them. Edi was based on the ME2 character, but now with a mobile body, and Javik, the only new and good character... Well, you had to pay extra.
When I mentioned the scene on earth, it was the good-bye gift, when they can watch the horizon together (which is the opening of all 3 games). If you´re romancing Liara, they will share a kiss with the mass effect symbolic opening behind them. The scene is truly memorable and moving. I´m sorry, Traynor, but this is checkmate for you. Hit the showers, but remember to take off your clothes (another thing that Liara does and you don´t). ![]()

You could also have FemShep go the Jacob route in ME2, and then swear off men for good after getting the But-The-Prize-By-The-Way-Knocked-Up-Brynn treatment. ![]()

I'd have voted Liara as well.
Traynor is a weirdo that bathes in her underpants.
You could say the same about Shepard, Ashley, Kaidan and Steve when it comes to there romance scene except their not bathing

Crap, I missed out, except I am not sure I would have been able to vote either way. Both are good, both have their high points.
Liara pluses: full nudity, beam run, Cronos station
Liara minuses: totally akward lock in scene, blah Citadel content
Traynor pluses: great dialogue, Citadel interrupt, Citadel meet ups
Traynor minuses: no missions
The romance lock in...I agree. But her citadel content? I thought the piano scene was well done.

That evac scene was just an insult to the ones who romanced Samantha, Steve, Miranda and Jack. There was no reason for it especially since they already had a goodbye a short time ago. All they needed for that scene is to call for a shuttle when the area is clear and have Shepard continue to run to the beam without saying a word.
A big difference is T'soni has mental issues. She apparently likes removing armor from a corpse to display like its some kind of trophy in her apartment. And for some reason, which we may never know, she doesn't tell anyone that she gave the corpse to Cerberus. The biggest thing she has over Traynor is she's been in the previous games.
Point number one: you do realize Garrus, Tali and VS also get that extra scene? Are their scenes also "insults"? Or is Liara the only one worthy of your hate?
Point number two... you know what, I'm not opening that can of worms again.

I'm just going to say role play your Shepard. Based on Shepard's actions who would she be attracted to?

That includes them as well. Why wouldn't it? I did not specifically mention Liara by name.
You don't have to open that can of worms because there is no excuse for her to have that armor on display like she does. I would really like an answer as to why she does. The same for why she doesn't tell anyone about not giving Shepard's body to Cerberus. The excuse she gives is lame.

Very good, at least you're not choosy in whom to drop the bile.
As for the armor... what the hell is she supposed to do with it? Show it to the Alliance? With questions folllowing, it would be only matter of time before they find out Shepard's body is in possession of Cerberus. What would happen from there is anybody's guess, but it probably wouldn't be pretty. In the end, no Lazarus project, no Shepard revived, Reapers harvest the galaxy.
Why she kept it? To remind herself of her failure? Whether that is failure to save commander when the Collectors attacked or the failure of giving the body to the Cerberus... take your pick. Is that healthy? No, but she's hardly the first person to do something like that. And, probably, as a memento to dear friend who saved her life and showed her that the galaxy is much different place than she imagined.

Maybe Liara is to blame for this, I don't know. But I always grouped it with the rest of BioWare's shoddy plot work in ME2.
I guess the answer is that the plot needed to happen and Liara was the most convenient way for that to happen. Ya, it's hella weird but I never held it against Liara as a character (that's reserved for whoever wrote this) as I think it was an unintended biproduct of trying to shoehorn certain developments into the story.

There you go again with the friend crap. All Shepard's that I've played don't give a flying crap about her.
What's your answer if Shepard asks why you didn't tell his/her mother(for those that play as a spacer) about giving his/her body to Cerberus? Or why she couldn't give the armor to his/her mother? Is LIara now more important than Shepards mother?

I assume people don't keep momentos of close friends or relatives then.
Oh no, wait, they do.
How many people do you know that have pieces of armor taken from a friends body?
