I still can't believe that there are people who spent hours editing their character, unless the game has thousands of options I don't see why it would take that long. I have rarely seen it but its sad when I do especially if its their opposite gender that's even more confusing other than the fact they want to check out their character though they sometimes defend themselves with excuses. I also notice its the talkative male gamers who plays as females in youtube and twitch the most.

Okay that was a bit off topic sorry but they should add as many options as they can.

Sometimes I'll spend ten or more minutes trying to decides which eye color is the right blue.

That said, we need zooming in on facial parts.

Really, if I can create a golden-skinned hornless qunari with a luxurious flowing white mane and beard and purple or violet eyes, I'll be satisfied.

  • Zooming would be good, it's always been hard for me to pick eye-colors cos it's hard to see.
  • Multiple lighting options - so you can preview your character in daylight, indoors, etc.
  • A lot more colors for hair and eyes - instead of having just 3 shades of brown to pick from, give us a color wheel where we can pick any shade we want - I don't need crazy colors, just a gradient from white - blonde - red - brown - black would be good.
  • 2 tone hair - a base color and highlights.
  • Long hair!

-Better lighting or a close-up view for eye color (I could never see the colors well in Origins' character creator)

-Longer hairstyles for female characters (that reach their upper back/shoulders)

-More afro/braid styles for both genders (especially female)

-Violet eye color

-Skin varieties in qunari (golden, bronze, I hope they're not all just gray)

  • body slider. Also for NPCs. Not all women should look like supermodels, and not every man like a bodybuilder. Please no more Elthina GILF, Booby Leandra, Irving the Playboy or Sexy Deserter. Make them skinny, paunched, tall, petite... whatever - but not all the same. (though Wynne needs a decent bosom ;) )
  • better beards
  • customize lip shape
  • more appealing dwarves. This race needs more love!! I spent hours in the CC but never got a Thorin.
  • more scars. I'm the Inquisitor, so I have seen some combats, right?
  • more hair colors, and LONGER hair

even if we can't morph the body shape, I would love the ability to place birthmarks, tattoos, freckles, scars, and body hair in CC. Just that if not the other

EDIT: Also, a booty slider, even if we can't morph the rest of it, I just want that booty slider

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS!

Maybe with the ability to have some generic lines so we can see emotion on their faces.

Cause sometimes my Hawke looked weird when talking.

I like how Origins had this yet the Warden was silent.

-More unique facial tattoos...  for the Dalish elves maybe a little explanation of what each one means?

-Facial scars, ranging from minor to the downright nasty (think, The Hound from GOT)

-Body tattoos

-Body scars

-NON SUNKEN IN CHEEKS IF I HAVE FACIAL HAIR!!!!!

-More natural looking beards.  Not everyone that has a beard has the thing trimmed to a point.

Hah, well, that is what mods are for. Unfortunately it's still really difficult to get a good result in Bioware games, because their CC is arse. Tbh if you're going to play an RPG for 60+ hours, you want your character to look right, especially since the camera cuts to your face so often. If that's surprising to you, I'd ask why bother with RPGs at all? Playing a role, after all. And yes, I spend longer making female charactes look less shocking than they generally do in vanilla. I play male and female depending what feels right for the role (warriors usually male, mages female). Why? Because if you're going to get involved in a female character story, you want her to look good. And yes, I can tell the difference between real women and imaginary ones - the real ones are infintely preferable, but I don't see it as any worse than a guy looking at porn: it's not like he's actually doing anyone, just indulging in an unreal setting. At least in an RPG like Dragon age you can give the woman some personality and more depth/story.

Basically the more options we can get to create exactly the look of our characters the better.  A solid character creator is very important to me.

I want to be able to adjust the size of my man junk and have it reflected in armor by an absurdly large sized codpiece.

I'd like character creation beyond just the head/face. Tattoos, scars, chest hair. I'd also like tattoos beyond the symbols we've seen so far.

I'd also like an option that would alter how muscular our character is. Not necessarily something that would change their body size(I'm aware of the programming nightmare that creates), but just something that changes the texture to show various levels of muscle definition.

I'm also hoping for a greater variety in the hairstyles and facial hair than we've seen so far.

*snip*

10/10

I'd really like body modification, it doesn't have to be the shape, just the surface. I definitely want to see body scars, freckles, hair etc. A muscle tone slider would be amazing.

One of the things that annoyed me about Origins was how muscular *everyone* was; at least all the male models. It rarely came into play, but knowing my mage was so built under those robes actually took me out of it, which is partly why I didn't advance that character very far.

The flip side of that is I'm annoyed at how un-muscular the female characters look, when playing a rogue or a warrior. I wouldn't necessarily want to take it to female body builder levels, but I'd like them to look much more athletic; as it is, they just look soft.

Ability to change size of Inquisitor. Maybe slider things but for each aspect so you can make him a little fat, a good amount fat or really fat. Same with buff, skinny and such. Maybe some control on height as well.

Body hair. I did not see why in Origins Dwarves were like hairless other than their face.

Scars.

EDIT: Piercings.

Exactly. Even just for futher variety between characters and npcs. That ripped, smooth model body wasn't something I was keen on. For the ladies, I'd have liked my warrior women to have more muscle going on.

  • More Black hairstyles! I need fades, Afros, buzz cuts, flat-tops, dreadlocks!
  • More creation options-Origins had a lot but it felt like DA2 had ME's CC which sucked because it has only a few sliders
  • More skin tone options

Better skin and face textures. I don't want some low res 256x256 texture for eyes when we're gonna be seeing them fairly close up.

More skin tones ranging from ivory to ebony. More hair colours, with black hair that's actually black and not dark brown.
