There have been gay and bisexual characters in previous DA games. There will be gay and bisexual characters future DA games. BioWare aren't going to make everyone straight just to please a few bigots, Russian or otherwise. (I doubt everyone in the Russian community agrees with you, though.)
If you don't like it, you may want to find some other games to play.

Well I'd say hate to break it to you, but I really don't: Your country has gay people. You don't speak for the Russian DA community. You speak for you. And you're wrong.

The guy just wants to get attention. And his point of view is definetely not popular on the Russian BioWare forums. Mods rather harshly suppress intolerance there. And there are gay and bi russian players as well, surprise (myself included).

I had to laugh sorry. You dont know who is or isnt gay anywhere, and will let you in on a secret. Historically, homosexuals didnt really go around announcing what they was. Many people are still getting surprised at some coming out even to this day.
I do know a few russians, two women, both bisexual and a man that is bisexual but prefers men. So, sorry to burst your little bubble that all russians are straight.

I have a female friend who's the opposite. She prefers men, but if she happens to click with another woman then she's more than happy to progress the relationship. As it turns out, bisexual people can have preferences in who they're attracted to just like anyone else.
Yes, I have a friend who sounds exactly like this... except... and @dekarserverbot (this is going, to, like seriously BLOW YOUR MIND) when I first met her, it was the opposite. She preferred women, almost exclusively, and it took a rare guy to get her attention. As i understand it (and, admittedly, this is from anecdotal evidence, but still...) she's not all that rare.
So, is the first or second one 'out of character' for her as an actual human being?
Or could it be that *gasp* sexuality might actually be fluid and something that can change over the course of a person's life? I mean, I've always been straight, but, the type of guy I prefer now is quite different from the ones I went for ten years ago. Not saying that's the case with Anders or Leliana, necessarily, but just as actual human beings aren't rigid, fictional characters aren't - nor should they be (speaking not of sexuality now, but in general).
Also: since I have had people on these forums misinterpret what I say (and admittedly, I'm not the best writer), just to clarify - the fact that I think sexuality can be fluid doesn't mean I think orientation is something that can or should be changed. At all. I just think preferences can, and sometimes do.
I agree that people can have different preferences about the type of person they find attractive, I myself have had times when I preferred men & other times when I preferred women. I don't think anyone has exactly the same preference their entire life
So, fun fact about me. I'm biologically male and I identify as male (I'm married and recently had a kid). I publicly identify as hetero, because I'm only interested in women, either romantically or sexually. Privately, though, I really identify as a lesbian. Any time I get to make a character and it's an option I make a female character. Second Life, Elder Scrolls, Bioware Games, whatever. Whenever I have fantasies, sexual or otherwise, I always picture myself as a woman (one particularly interesting reoccurring one has me imagining I'm the first ever female WWE World Heavyweight Champion). But I have absolutely zero interest in being trans. If someone told me they would pay for surgery, I'd turn them down. But if someone told me they could magically change things so that I had been born a woman, I'd probably take them up on the offer.
So here's the interesting bit: I actually think that if I was born female I'd be bisexual, with something like a 90/10 interest in women/men. If that's not a pretty clear indicator of how wide the spectrum of sexuality can be, then I don't know what is.

Firstly anyone can be a flamboyant casanova, straight, gay, bi, transgendered etc, that is not a personality trait that is only applicable for straight men.
Secondly, we only know one thing about Anders sexuality from Awakenings, he is attracted to women. That still leaves bi as open possibility, as he never specifically said he wasn't attracted to men.
Most bisexuals have to come out over & over again to people because there is this perception out there that the person they settle down with reveals their 'true' sexuliaty.
Just look at how many times Anna Paquin has had to explain that she is still bi even though she's married to a man
And thirdly, Anders was bonded to Justice and saw his friend twisted into Vengeance because of his anger, if he were the same guy we met in Awakening, I'd think he was a very shallow person or had a very poor writer.

I don't get how a lesbian Leliana is more lore friendly. Yes the only relationship she spoke to us about was with a woman & yes she does come on to a female Warden.
This could mean one of two things:
1) she has a preference for women
2) she feels more comfortable coming on to women
Notice how neither of those two things are that she is secretly really a lesbian.
As for the Morrigan comments, I always took that as one woman complimenting another, it doesn't mean that Leliana was attracted to her.

I was with you for the rest, but I'm not sure about this last bit. Just because someone is using sexuality in a certain way to accomplish their goals, you can't necessarily form a conclusion about what they actually like outside of those goals.

Of course, that is true. There are gay for pay porn actors for example.
As you pointed out, she could've just as easily been straight or gay and using her sexuality to accomplish goals in her job
I just mean that from a story point of view, her role as a bard means that her bisexuality doesn't necessarily come as a surprise and helps indicate that her bisexuality wasn't 'forced' upon her.
As in case in point, some gay men had to marry a woman as well as lesbians having to marry a man in history. Didn't make them straight, just appear so for public appeasement. What happened in their bedrooms, I don't want to really find out nor do I care, that is their issues not mine. I am just putting that out there cause this has happened before. Doesn't mean its fine to do, just that it happened. Those people were not straight nor were they bisexual, though does make it tough if expected to made children.
Though this isn't to say much on Leliana, she was fine the way she was and cant wait to talk to her again.

So to bring this topic back to life.... Out of the two remaining romances at least one has to be male and if so which one do you think it will be/ want it to be and what do you think the chances are of them being bi or gay?
Also how many non straight npc's would you guys like to see in the game?
So far we got Leliana, Josephine, Possibly Celene, possibly Briala, Possibly Justinia and I guess Hawke and possibly the Warden for some.

With one of my many inquisitor playthroughs I will be playing a gay male Inquisitor based on myself, and I have a massive attraction to the intellectual introverted sorts of men. Yet in all seriousness, I am hoping for Solas as a bi love interest, so inquisitors of both genders have a chance with him.
