Like can't you be sexually ambiguous and gay, straight, or bi. I've never really heard of sexually ambiguous as a sexuality by itself.

I know. I was just saying that it causes problems when a writer decides to change a character's orientation. As someone who identifies as sexually ambiguous myself I can say it is not a good feeling when a character who thinks is representing what you are for years all of a sudden isn't.

Almost certainly. However I did not know this until after I brought up my being upset after Gaider's...clarification of Merrill's sexual orientation at GaymerX.

Sorry for missing this, first off.
As for Merrill still being that, I don't think so. Gaider was pretty resolute both at the panel and with his interview with Ashe that she was just bisexual. Any ambiguity was probably intended to add to her be the virgin option of the game.

I have to quote this......(page 66 right now catching up).....
Anders was not suddenly bi going into DA2. I watched Anders actually get deflected more than once by Oghren in their little chats. Anders keeps checking out Oghren in Awakening, I was using them two together for a length of time that I normally don't, I tended to use Justice over Oghren but decided to change step that last play. There was quite a bit of Oghren telling Anders. The Innuendo was there, it is indicated through Awakening he does like men if watch them talk. Just putting this out there, cause I never used that combo much in past till recent.
Heterosexuals get attacked (mind you I am hetero and don't get jumped in here), cause hetero tend to use words that are very aggressive terms. Saying lines as, forced down throat, too many bisexual, too many gay, and any other words is attacking LGBT. If it was not meant to be an attack those terms should never be used. I try to avoid words that are offensive to anyone, but sometimes I do fail, but learn from it.
Catching up still: References, about gay couples... two men at a bench, wouldn't bother me, I'd keep going, two women at a bench, I would pause a moment sure, cause I do like women. I will continue on, but would pause a second. Don't mean to offend, just saying what would happen.

EDIT: hopefully the last time. I don't say, well that sucks I lost Sera....when in fact, I would still romance her. She was not taken away from me as a choice, cause I could (planned anyways) make a female to romance her. That content was never taken away from me, as an RPG that allows someone to play what they wish, all of it is open for anyone technically. Sera is a lesbian, men can role up a female (doesn't make them less a man, in fact some women that prefer men, would like men seen their point of view as sexy anyways). I don't feel sorry or sad for hetero males one bit. As, catering to males is pretty high still.

So, I am getting the idea from dekarserverbot is this. One person that hides their bisexuality isn't bisexual. I am reading the words as such I could be wrong but that is what I got.
I knew this guy for many years, he always talked about women, flirted with women, never hinted at liking guys ever. I didn't read him as liking men. One day, he ends up with my ex, which he told her. She ended up telling me, he knows I know now but doesn't change anything. It made a little more sense to me on couple things I didn't think about till after, where it was like, oh..... I must not of paid closer attention to few things. He isn't open still, but only few of his friends know. Most still will see him straight as he carries himself straight.
Out of his character to be bisexual?! He didn't want people making a mess over his life, and chose to keep it hidden, and pretty good too. I wouldn't of guessed beforehand. Merrill being bi is no surprise to me when relating to the friend I know as exactly the way she is. She didn't seem to hide one orientation but any orientation to me. Anders didn't hide it in Awakening, it was hinted at more than once. If not paying attention it could get missed, like I did with my friend I mentioned,

Possibly, but I highly doubt it. Gaider saying things like him going for set sexualities so there can be "actual representation" seems to suggest that it will never happen.
