i mean i heard good things about gameplay so it's probably a good game
but also it had some drum'n'bass in one of the promo trailers so that made me really suspicious

why didnt anyone tell me hearthstone is just magic the gathering in disguise?
Ive been tricked into a nerdy thing
how different does card battle game have to be to not be magic in disguise
my internet connection keeps cutting out and i've forgotten what i'm supposed to enjoy that's not online
also days of future past was really really good and i'm probably about to get really obsessed with xmen
I happened to pick up and read an old X-Wing novel I found lying around and enjoyed it more than I expected. Might go on another Star Wars binge soon.
i really hate the portrayal of phoenix in all of the recent live action stuff because she is so much more awesome in the comics and i thought i hated her until i read the comics
scott sucks in general always
wolverine/storm 5ever tho

fphah
are we about to have one of those notoriously gruesome shipping wars they have in x-men fandom
cyclops hate free zone
morrison wrote the best cyclops
**** CYCLOPS
I think the infidelity aspect has been overused
It has become an essential driving part of his character
Cyclops unfaithful > Jean hurt > Wolverine in the wings > Scott's cheating hardens jeans > the failure of their relationship isolates scott > in isolation, scott becomes more fascist/hardline/secretive > Emma frost > Scott + emma > doesnt work > Wovlverine + Jean > doesnt work >
repeat from the beginning in a few years. with different writers
It mostly makes me mad, how no one resents wolverine.. Like, learn how to respect peoples marriages man
And wolverine is such a hypocrite, always trying to call scott out when he's just as flaky, confused, and internally lost
Everytime wolverine is in leadership role he flakes out
Flakes out on all the relationships he builds with people... but I don't think people react to that, cause.. well, I am not sure..
But then he wants to be like..
wow, scott, utopia? really, dick...
and
He's all, wow, scott, you are a such bastard, this whole thing, with the kids fighting, man, you're such a piece of ****
and
Like, hes all, oh, scott, you *******, x-force is so bad
Then he starts his own x-force! Which is even more violent, and has criminals in it..
I also don't see why people react so strongly to the cheating and all of scotts other problems but just let all of that with wolverine side..
All the instability in wolverines life, it's so extreme I guess that it doesn't strike a nerve?
anyway what a good comic uncanny x-force was!
so good
watching superman animated series... not as good
I've mentioned before there are a lot of double-standards with infidelity/philandery in these things
Luke Cage has a couple of allusions to his sexual past that are clearly intended to be humorous, and he considered a **** forever
Thor is a huge **** all the time (plus being really flaky about it) and nobody ever calls him on it.
Similarly with Wolverine and Scott
the "Oh Jean, you should get with Logan: Scott hurt you when he was seduced by Emma, but Logan would never hurt you that way" thing
it's weird when Wolverine goes through love interests at the rate most people go through underwear, often concurrently
.
This man is not a paragon of fidelity
he also has fantasies about people like Squirrel Girl, which is possibly inappropriate.
Most characters would not be allowed to get away with a quarter of what Wolverine does without being skewered by fans.
It's not even a deliberate characterization most of the time, I think. It's just Logan is a hugely overused/under-edited character and every writer who comes along wants to add his own thing, including his own love interest, with editors not keeping tight enough reins on all the stuff being added to his convoluted mythos
but yeah the Logan/Jean/Scott drama has had way too much influence on that franchise since the phoenix saga and it seems like it should just go away.
Particularly since we've already seen many times that Jean/Either Dude does not work out.
it crowds out other characters
Like it's weird that Storm hasn't been used in all of the recent x-men power struggles.
why should schism and subsequent politics gravitate around Logan and Scott, other than to fuel their dumb rivalry? Storm already lead X-men for a long time and did it very successfully, moreso than either of the men. Why did they contrive her divorce if not to thrust her into important leadership role in X-men franchise again?
Hank too, who has been more heavily used in Avengers stuff than X-men
Next time Jean comes back, they should just do something way out of left-field, like turn her into a Deathlok or have her date Cannonball
Wedge Antilles forever

in addition to storm, I iceman needs to be more significant

he's portrayed as being so strong, but it never goes anywhere..
How irrelevant he is in all media just confuses me. If anyone should be opposed to Scott so often, why not him?

I resent the amount of qui-gonn/obi wan slash there is
who thinks this is a good pairing
what a bad idea
qui-gonn/dooku, maybe
people have no logic in their pairings i am so sick of it tbh
harry potter had a lot of diverse pairiings tha was cool..
