I am thrilled that there will be many unique endings! Depending on our choices through out all three games.

But what if they were to make it more simple then that. Like a unique ending for each race with some differences depending on the choices you made?

For example- say your a female (of which ever race you play as) and they allowed you to get married or pregnant (or both) with your LI (at the end of the game), wouldn't you want it different say if your a dalish or a dwarf? I am talking about cloths and customs pertaining to your race among other things.

I'd love to see Bioware handle a topic such as pregnancy. I don't think any games have really dared making the PC a parent, at least not games that aren't Simulation games.

Didn't Baldurs gate have a romance interest that could get pregnant?

One is good.

There are stories that don't need endings, but BioWare is unlikely to tell one like that.

Flying elf girl, and the baby became an inventory item. (You couldn't sell it.)

Enough endings to last me until the next game! :D

J/K (maybe) though since I am raising a little one of my own who takes up most of my time it won't need to be a super high number.

There should absolutely no way in hell be a unique ending for each race.

Of all the things the ending should be dependent on, race is at pretty much the rock bottom of the list.

Still having a hard time believing that there'll be 40 different endings. Mass Effect 3 has left me way too jaded on that

It depends how many meaningful choices there are during the game that can effect the way things turn out.

Also, what do we mean by "Ending."  We close the Rift, the credits roll, The End.

Different endings don't change The End, just the circumstances around it; what factions are high and low?  Who's ruling where? Who's at war with whom? Did we survive?  Did our companions?  Did Buffy the Wonder Nug ever find true love?  All of those things (and hopefully more) make for a different ending without making for a different Ending.

If they are saying 40, that seems about right.  But I don't imagine we'll need more than one or two ways (maybe 3) to actually close the Rift, and great will be the lamentation and gnashing of teeth if colours are in any way involved. ;)

Some different "endings" like variations of epilogues is fine IMO, but I personally dont want to see 40 different ME type outcomes

" ... and that's when I shot him, Your Honour ... "

Can;t you just see the press release?

The new Frostbite Engine has enabled us to open up vast new swathes of the colour spectrum, enabling more endings than ever before.  Your choices are infinite ...

It`s hard to say " how many ending we need "  , more than one but as long as they are well written who cares how many there are .

You only need one ending, but I think people would like more then one.

One. You really only need one ending. More would be nice, of course, but more is almost always better when it comes to the demands of gamers.
