I'd love to see Bioware handle a topic such as pregnancy. I don't think any games have really dared making the PC a parent, at least not games that aren't Simulation games.

Didn't Baldurs gate have a romance interest that could get pregnant?

I would actually love to see the handle on this as well, it would be fun and intresting.

I just hope that the endings are not like the slideshow we got in Origins. So un-epic to play through defeat every monster and all we get as a reward is a slideshow.

We could at least get a cinematic in game graphics, so they can let our created hero be the star in the cinematic. Just something more than slides.

Something more then slides will make it something less.

We only need one ending. The number we want however is the issue.  ;)

I'm kind of curious...how many 'major' choices were there in Dragon Age 2? Off the top of my head, there was which sibling survived and what became of them, whether Aveline was married or not, how the circle mages were handled when Ser Thrask asked for Hawke's help, whether Fenris was returned to his master, whether Merril's clan was killed or not, Bartrand's fate, the respect of the Arishok, what became of the idol shard, if Isabella came back with the relic, if Isabella was given to the Arishok, the fate of Anders, the mage/templar decision, and what Sebastian did, which ties into the previous Anders thing. I didn't count choices that didn't seem to matter or ones that led to roughly the same scene no matter want. That's only thirteen choices. Thirteen. Let's see how Origins stacks up:

Your origin story and the little choices made within it, whether or not you helped defend Redcliffe, how the Connor/Isolde situation was resolved, The Urn of Sacred Ashes, How the cultists/Andraste were handled, the dwarven succession, the anvil of the void/branka's fate, how the elves and werewolves were handled, whether or not to annul the circle of magi, Loghain's fate, who was monarch of Fereldan, whether or not the dark ritual was performed, who killed the archdemon. Thirteen again. I might have forgotten something again.

Assuming major really means major, as in all the choices will be as high-stakes as the major choices in Origins, I'm excited that there's forty of them. Then again, the Crestwood scenario is probably considered major and it's just about whether or not one keep can be defended.

My expectations are unrealistic ;o;

One is good. There are stories that don't need endings, but BioWare is unlikely to tell one like that. Flying elf girl, and the baby became an inventory item. (You couldn't sell it.)

I recall she just tells pc she is pregnant and there is some discussion on the subject available and a epilogue text but I don't remember her giving birth during the gameplay.

Hell yes to this, but im not sure how practical it would be, regardless though i just want to know all the details of the world i just saved after the climax, whether thats done through a slideshow or in-game cinematic

I don't care. If I don't like the ending I'll write my own. That's what fanfiction was invented for.

This just in: Bioware announces there will be only one ending to DA:I. Representatives from each Ending Camp shall partake in the First annual Bioware Hunger Games to decide the Ending.

The rumor that there will be 40 endings is untrue. Bioware said that there will be hundred of small differences, about 40 major differences, and only a few entirely unique endings.

I'm getting a three colour wibe from this...

Technically Origins had 4 different ending - not horribly different, but different enought to be satisfying:

1) You die

2) Loghain Dies

3) Alistair Dies

4) Dark Ritual

That's sort of what I'm expecting - if the final choice ends up being, for example, "how to close the rift?" There will be 3-4 methods of doing that, which should hopefully result in 3-4 different endings. I figure if I expect them to be DA:O scale in differences, I hopefully won't be disappointed.

And then hopefully the epilogue cards of origins will be done as more cinematic, narrated scenes to show all the smaller varients.
