Does this imply there's more of these... things? bizarrely.. hot!! ![]()
But, what are they? Where do they come from? What is their purpose? Are they another race?

Really? It's bizarre to see more naked, green, forest-dwelling women in a pseudo-medieval fantasy series?
Seems like they're a pretty common occurrence, to me. It's almost like the entertainment industry is a straight male-dominated machine that exists purely for the production of naked ladies.
They do apparently have nymphs/nature spirits in the lore. The second one is the Lady of the Forest from DAO.
They remind me of those chicks with grass for pubes from The Witcher. I wasn't super satisfied with how that werewolf quest ended tbh. Seemed a little too easy.

Believe me, I'm not complaining.....

Yeah, I have a feeling someone failed to read the codex and went "Oh look, a green naked chick." <facepalm>

Can I be in just one thread in this section without seeing this argument repeatedly being made?
Its like people are actively looking to spark an off topic back and forth.
I just want to find out more about multiple Ladies of the Forest, since I thought there was only the one in the Brecilian Forest.
Yes, the Lady of the Forest is our version of a dryad. There are other dryads, though not all of them are as benevolent.
^This I like to hear. Didn't know there were more dryads. Wonder if we'll see more in the near future. ![]()
I could have sworn that someone told me that they are mentioned within the earlier novels once.

I'm new to the new Bioware forum and I just want to say I think it's awesome that you engage directly with fans in this way when you don't have to. Thank you.

David rocks like that.
Actually, several members of the BioWare staff are really cool about interacting with us. I feel pretty lucky.

Indeed. David and Allan hit these forums pretty often, as well as Jessica obviously.

Forum vet here along with a few others, we'll let you know that the DA team is VERY active on the boards when they're able and decide to interact with us. Expect more in the future. If you see a Bioware tag by a thread, it means a developer has posted in the thread. You'll notice many of these throughout the forum, and thats because Biodevs don't stay quiet for long. Hope you enjoy the dev interactions on the boards as your time here expands. ![]()
Just in case, my Inquisitor is strong, and agile enough ![]()

I remember you from BSN, where I went by various titles. Seems you're just as active as ever. ![]()

I dunno. Can I see just one time this argument is made where people don't flock to silence it because they don't want to have to think about it?
So are these dryads related to elves, specifically the ancient immortal ones who chilled in these forests?
Both are ancient magical beings who are attuned to nature.....

I wonder if we'll come across them in the Dales. Haunted Forest and all that.

Dude. Can we just not start a flame war.

I don't know if they are necessarily related to the elves themselves, although it would seem that they have some kind of relationship, as Dalish frequently work with other nature spirits, like sylvans.
Are they all mages? Clearly the one we encountered could do some magic.

No, because people are sick of the same arguments over and over again until it gets too heated the thread gets locked. So yes, please.Drop it.
Back on topic. I found the art design of the Lady to be rather fascinating. The Dryads I see are normally part animal. So part tree was a interesting look.

Haunted Forest? And yes, I bet we'll see some in the game. Maybe somewhere like this?
