I feel like I get a free pass. I've wasted most of my time in the ME forums. I had an old DAO account, but never posted much with it. So now you have to deal with me talking about Loghain. 
I didn't know it was a much repeated subject.
After all the shenanigans at the Alienage, my Warden killed him with extreme prejudice.
I believe that Alistair deserves to duel him, man to man. What Alistair does during that duel is not under my control.

While I opt to kill him the vast majority of my games, I do recommend allowing him to become a Warden at least once for the bonus dialogues that can follow. While they may not alter your judgments on the man himself, it does add to insights as to his motivations and background.

Ever since I figured out how to keep him alive and wed Alistair and Anora, I've never looked back. He's survived every game since. After reading The Stolen Throne, I can't help but like Loghain.

I don't generally put myself into my characters, (I probably would have spared him if I did) so my Warden's reasons...well, she'd killed any elven slaver she'd come across before that. Wasn't about to make an exception for him.
And all the 'He's a hero!' and 'He is Ferelden!' kind of fell on deaf ears. She was Dalish and couldn't care less.

His character is a (rather attractive) elf. She kills elf slavers (whilst still looking stunning).
Anyway. I ask you people to give me at least one strong argument why Loghain must die.
No personal feelings. For example "he tried to kill Warden." or "Alistair is cute." or "because i feel like it." (<- last one is a reason enough for me, but this argument is not objective.)
Without making him responsible for mistakes/crimes of other people like Howe or Duncan.
Mind you - slavery could be evaluated as a crime(and it is i guess, in given setting), but is it worthy of death? Side note from old Legioneer - if city elves allow other to treat them as cattle, they deserve to be treated as cattle (you may not take this point of view as valid argument.)
