When a Juggy has a high-level enemy (Phantom or Banshee) in a choke hold, do you want me to attack it? I feel like I am "kill-stealing". But, then I wonder if the Juggy thinks I'm not helping.  It's an awkward situation....

Of course, if the Juggy is surrounded by enemies I attack the others first.

When it comes to Juggy heavy melee on sync-kill enemies, what do you want me to do?  Do you want me to stand back and let you kill it, or join in???

Thanks!

Kill everything. That's literally the point of the game.

Yes, kill it. Plus speeds up the game a bit.

If I see a Juggy taking hits from other enemies, then I let him force-choke whoever's in his grasp...chances are the pug needs the shields. Otherwise, that target's head is mine.

A good rule of thumb is anything with armor a Jug melees should be killed because they're still able.

My inclination is --

if Jugg is paralyzing something tough like a Banshee, he's doing his job effectively neutralizing it and making it easy to headshot w/o worrying about sync kills and the like, so take advantage.   That's teamwork.

If he's draining something like a Cannibal or Marauder that isn't a sync-kill risk and could easily have been blown away by decent firepower, then it's probably to regain his shields and let him do so.  To kill it might mean that his shields remain low, and it's not like the Cannibal is going to last very long anyway.

For me it depends on how much the enemy the Juggy is HMing depletes the wave budget and how easy it is to kill it. For example, if a Juggy's got an Atlas in his hold, I'll let him melee it to death even if it takes him the whole wave to do it because that's one big threat less to worry about and it'd take me some time to take that Atlas down. If a Juggy is HMing a Phantom or a Pyro or a Ravager though, kill stealing or not, I'm taking the shot.

Because why wait for the Juggy to kill a Phantom and deplete the wave budget in 20 seconds when I can do the same with one headshot?

Yes please. When I jugg I pick up phantoms primarily so they'll be fodder for teammates. I don't mind at all if people shoot what I'm meleeing and I really don't even melee that much with the jugg. I prefer it as a weapons platform.

That said, not everyone feels the same way I do and some will definitely let you know about it.

Kill it. Use a grenade if you prefer to be less personal about it.

Just let me get the final choke on the weak mook fodder so I can get the speed boost

Kill their targets constantly. Force them to learn how to survive without spending all day long using melee.

Juggs can hold two banshees but very soon he'll have a ton of other stuf honing in on him and will get swarmed quickly.
I found that melee Juggs is best accompanied by a flamer kit. Vorcha soldier for instance will either melt everything or blow everything around Juggy while he's meleeing. Banshees won't be power canceling while they are engaged with Juggs.

I only find it frustrating when someone waits until said banshee/atlas/whatever is literally at death's door from HM. That feels less like help and more like wanting the props... It happens a lot. If I see a jugg with something near death I leave it alone. If it's surrounded by brutes etc, I help.

It is tricky sometimes to know how people *feel* about it... there are some people who actually do shadow a jugg to kill on the last bar.

If you can kill it faster than someone else, do it. Whether it's a juggy or anything else. It's their problem, not yours.

I'll attack anything mook-ish, to deplete the budget faster, and anything that looks like it could add to overwhelming the Juggy's shield recovery, but otherwise, I'll go after the loose enemies before anything the Juggy is tanking.

Some people will tell you to stay away because they want to replenish their shields, others will tell you to kill everything if you have the chance.

Personally, I am in the "kill everything" camp. It´s surely much faster and safer strategy then waiting for Juggy melee to finish something.

He is holding their chin up for an easy headshot.

That Juggernaut is a sad robot when you do not kill his Vader-ling.

When I used to play the Jugg a lot, I would try to adjust my stance when heavy meleeing, so team mates could get a clear shot at the thing I was holding up.

Obviously, if there's several enemies surrounding the Jugg, you should first kill the ones he's not meleeing.

I once had a puggernaut b*tch at me for killing his HM targets causing him to die several times. I just laughed and kept killing everything with my GI. Silly puggernaut.

I typically kill everything else around him.  I find that helps keep juggs alive because pugs tend to let enemies have a dinner party around them.

If there's nothing else, I shoot/melee the target being choked

Don't give a **** what the Juggy thinks and murder things ESPECIALLY if the Juggy is soul-stealing the life out of it.

Juggy holding a Phantom for my Krogan to heavy melee her is always a pleasure.

Ok, might feel a little like beating a kid at school with a little help from my friends, but ... uhm yeah.
