isn't the issue wherever the jugg is using melee as their primary attack or not? If it is their primary attack they are probably going to get upset about your kill helping; but in BSN fashion I'm going to say they are doing it wrong. Whenever I jugg I only melee to restore shields, get the attention of an enemy (usually a banshee), or just so I drop them to the floor for a much easier kill. The primary attack is my gun, which the vast majority of the time is the PPR. Which opens up another reason for meleeing, waiting for my weapon to recharge.

If you are playing a match with me as jugg and your aren't killing what I'm meleeing, stop being so damn polite, kill it. So I can move onto the next target.

Most of the time I can't stand playing with a Jugg so I will avoid it best I can.  Other wise I don't care what they do since I will be on the other side of the map killing stuff.  For those games that I land in that have more than one jugg I just quit that game in an instant.

Kill it then say "No! Bad Juggy!"

I tend to just damage whatever the Jug is choking so they get the kill faster.

It's called an assist.

Chances are, that Juggernaut is just performing his drain on any enemy he can get his hands on, not trying to neutralize rushing phantoms or anything for the team. Kill it, and show him how things die.

If I'm within giving-a-**** range of a Juggernaut then I'm doing something wrong

When I'm Jugging, I mostly rely on my gun to kill stuff.

I'll HM any phantom just to ragdoll it so it's not shooting / sync-killing anyone else, so feel free to kill them.

Sometimes during objectives I'll HM a basic enemy for the movement speed buff, which I don't get if someone else kills it, but that's a minor concern so do what you feel like.

If i'm tanking two scions and a praetorian for you, kindly kill one of the two I'm not meleeing.

It's too much work to keep in mind each individuals preference when they're playing a Juggernaut so I'll just continue to see the Juggernaut as useless.

Personally if enemies are surrounding the juggy and no one is helping, I'll send a rocket his way to clear it up. Otherwise I'll venom/snipe the crap out of everything.

If I see a pug Jugg with melee attachment and strength enhancer equipped, and I hear that melee sound early on wave 1, I will probably make it my business to kill whatever they're meleeing asap, for the rest of the game, unless it's a phantom, or a banshee inside a hack circle.  I don't see it as kill-stealing - it's making the best of a bad situation.

I don't blame less experienced players for assuming the Jugg is designed to be played that way, but it just isn't.  It's horrible. Like Shield Boost spamming Volusesesi.

Also, Puggernauts, L2WalkBackwardsAroundCornersIntoCover please, and stop just standing around in the open, especially on Giant.

I don't have time for this. You won't score™ high by standing next to a Juggy...

If I'm puggernauting I don't really care what you kill. However, I often use melee to distract sync kill enemies, so if I'm tangled up with 2 banshees I'd appreciate it if you'd kill the ravager that's on the other side of the map sniping my head off before starting in on the banshees too. That way we can keep each other upright.

Juggs can hold two banshees but very soon he'll have a ton of other stuf honing in on him and will get swarmed quickly.
I found that melee Juggs is best accompanied by a flamer kit. Vorcha soldier for instance will either melt everything or blow everything around Juggy while he's meleeing. Banshees won't be power canceling while they are engaged with Juggs.

As a Juggernaut if i'm meleeing something, then either I want shields back or I'm immobilizing a unit like the Phantom so I can kill it very easily.

If you kill the target in the first case I'll just drain another target if I still need shields, and in the second case I wanted the target dead anyway.

So just kill everything and take advantage of all the aggro I'm taking. I agree with Shinobu that ideally you'll take out the Ravagers and other long ranged units first, but I do have my Hex Shield to block them if needed.

If a Puggernaut is ONLY using melee, I'll purposefully lead enemies to him and then watch as he dies.  If the Puggernaut is actually using skills / weapons (doing real damage), I'll assist if he gets swarmed.

A Juggy should never HM a phantom to death unless they need the shields.  HM to disable, shoot weapon / use powers to kill while the phantom (or whatever) is incapacitated.  A Juggernaut HM build is NOT helpful to a team, just as a Volus spamming shield boost is NOT helpful.  I'll gladly solo a match before I assist a leecher.
