Pls have these simple and easy to make, and easy to remember. Personally, I enjoy being able to press the Tilde key and enter something memorable; altering and tailoring my solo game to my wishes. It also saves on mods and lengthy walkarounds.

Then there are those games that discourage use of commands; even going to lengths to make them extremely difficult or discouraging for use. While a fair call, the difference is often seen in replay value, at least for me.

Being able to moderate my own game is a huge bonus, and one I hope is included here.

Thanks!

If the game will include a console. It is not always a definite.

A perfect example of why these commands - if possible - should be made for Techless Ones like myself....

I'd like to see these made accessible for console users, as well.

BTW, just a small request, yes, of course, I'd like DA:I to have a customization console, but perhaps now that it has a new engine, it will also be one where we can see what we are typing, rather than the letters being invisible.

(That was one thing I didn't like about DAO's and DA2's.)

Have a nice visible prompt come up on the screen after you hit the tilde key (or whatever) -- so you know for sure the console has been called up -- and then please make characters visible so we can know if we've mistyped a command or a value.

In the absence of mods, I imagine I will be using DA:I's more, to often do what I might do with mods.

BTW, if it can be enabled with a minimum of .INI file editing, that would be nice, too.

I agree with this request; have lost count of the times I've used console commands to advance/fix/bypass an errant quest, or to get unstuck from scenery I got into, or to return to the world after falling 'through' it, etc. Since developers are usually not willing to fix anything but major bugs after game ship, it's nice when they provide a console with useful commands.

Well, Battlefield 4 on PC has a rather easy to use console, so the Frostbite 3 engine is definitely capable of that.

You can also manually create a user.cfg file with console commands that will be automatically executed when the engine starts up.

I'd support this idea. I love using the console in DA:O and DA2.

I was completely unaware that DA:O had console commands, and I never used DA2's. But having that option for inquisition would be great.
