What are you trying to say? I use IE but that is only because I don't like the layout of Firefox and Chrome.
Nah I was just being obnoxious.
It is a bad browser though.

Doesn't change that it sucks.
They even have a mascot that's a cute anime girl and that can't sway me.

No seriously Chrome all the way.
A lot of traditional clothing is very impractical, elaborate and doesn't serve modern needs. Have you ever worn Lederhosen for more than a few hours? Well, it sucks. Nerd clothes are terrible and ugly and no one wants to wear a three-piece suit all day long.
No. You're being lazy and out of style! They're better than what I disliked in my previous comments anyway.
BTW.

No, Clones, mayonnaise is not an instrument. *Clones raises hand again* Horseradish is not an instrument, either.
Fa'ggot is indeed an instrument.
Small sticks used for kindling is an instrument now?

Surely true:

If bronies and Miley Cyrus just disappeared or fell off the face of the earth I'd be okay with that. But trends come and go...and sometimes come back...though sometimes we wish they wouldn't. I don't pay it attention most of the time unless its being shoved down my throat and someone is getting in face about it. For example when the furry thing was at its peek while I was in high school. People tried to convert me and get me into it. Why, I honestly have no clue. That's the only time I just couldn't wait for it to die out. Other wise I pay them little to no attention because they really aren't worth it. Just another fad.

IE is fine as a browser.
Unless you're doing web development, then it exists only to make your job twice as difficult as it needs to be.

The bronies is a really bizarre one that I don't understand, nor do I want to but to each their own I guess. I will still look at em oddly though.
- Memes bleeding outside the net.
- Doge.
- Dubstep in all of its forms.
- Reality TV.
- Tabloids.
Those are what I can think of at short notice.
I didn't read the entire thread so the following may already have been mentioned several times but anyway:
- Superhero movies: Hollywood, please pump your big budgeds into something new for a change, I don't want to see the 1000th comic book adaptation in 10 years, thankyouverymuch.
- Zombies everywhere!!!! Video games (especially DLCs) are plagued by this in recent years.
- Making Video games according to marketing statistics: Video games are the dream of marketing guys because they can get incredible amounts of data from the entire customer base. Howlong does the majority of buyers play the game? Do they play through the game? Do they skip cutscenes? How many % choose dialogue option a vs. b? According to these statistics, the next game is developed and it'll be a linear third person shooter with light RPG elements, awesome graphics (in the first 2 levels), the story of which basically only matters for the first 45 minutes and which ends in a cliff hanger because no one could be bothered to write an ending for it. NO! Please developers, make the games you want to make, not the games the marketing department tells you to make.
- The opening gap between Indie games and AAA games: It seems to be an unspoken agreement these days that indie studios make low budget innovative games and big publishers make high budged AAA sequels. I'd like to see more new ideas, new IPs, new products that stun me from the get-go with the novelty AND production values.
- If you want something, you better pay for a promise: Yes, kickstarter is a great idea for some stuff but the flood of kickstarter and early access projects is annoying me (probably more than it should). While the big catastrophe has not happened yet, I think it is a bit of a dangerous development to desensetize people to the fact thtat they are paying for teaser material with no guarantees. There is great potential in these financial models, for awesome products as well as for abuse and that's why I am skeptical.
Kept this restricted to entertainment and video games, given the nature of this site. Other topics that come to mind might get political very fast.
- Doge.
fite me irl
I don't know if these are all trends, and I more hate than think most of them should die, but:
Dyed/bottle blondes (especially those with brown eyes and brunette eyebrows, like I'm supposed to believe it)
"Reality" T.V.
"Reality" T.V. shows with competitions (I can think of 6 off the top of my head that have been on Australian T.V. recently)
Misuse of plurals (sure, it's not intentional and they just don't know, but I still hate it)
Phony smiles and dialogue in advertising
Non-Americans using American language like "Zee" and "Math" (I blame Sesame Street)
Selfies
Companies (everything from insurance to dairy products) with Facebook pages
Twerking
Bronies (although, I mostly only see them here)
Trolling
CoD and ME3 multiplayer
Instagraming food
Tweeting for the sake of it
Infomercials
Paid subscriptions
Advertising health insurance in the middle of the day
The use of the word "football" (seriously, just call it by it's proper name!)
The use of the word "gig" ("The word, 'apology,' 'gig,' gets thrown around a lot these days.")
People typing 'alot,' and putting other words together to make one word, when they're really two
Poor road manners like; speeding, tailgating, cutting people off when overtaking and zigzagging through other vehicles
Big cars such as 4WDs that are supposed to be for off-road not urban roads
Hating on new intellectual property because it "sucks" and "the old stuff is better" (e.g. hating on DA2, ME3 and FFX and other games)
Discussions about the indoctrination theory
Not bothering/trying to use proper grammar (I'm sure it happens in more than just English)
Rickrolling (I don't hate this, but it should definitely die)
Racism and sexism (not that I'm totally innocent of the former, although I am of the latter)
Women with short hair that's been stuck up (usually lesbians, I think - don't quote me on that)
Misuse of the apostrophe ' (such as --> ATM's)
Putting an 's' on the end of words like DLC to mean multiples, where the last letter in the acronym is a word that's both singular and plural
Cover versions of songs, that don't live up to the original
Women with short hair that's been stuck up (usually lesbians, I think - don't quote me on that)
Short hairstyles like that grind your gears really.
Stereotyping is bad and you should feel bad and that one is so tired.

It bugs and confuses me. Really, no one should have hair like that, but only women seem to have it.

But what if it does suck and the old stuff *IS* better?
Which reminds me..another thing to add on the list:
- blanket dismissal statements

For me the problem comes when people start acting like their opinion that the newer stuff sucks is cold hard fact(not saying you specifically, but people in general).
I suspect that if I made a thread about liking DA2 or the ending to ME3 a lot I would get flamed and have people tell me that my opinion is "wrong". See also: Every thread ever made by Seival on these forums.
In other words, the whole "stop liking the things I don't like" I was talking about earlier.
Well, I would say that ME3 and DA2 were OBJECTIVELY, overall worse than their predecessors, BUT that doesn't mean there weren't things about them people shouldn't like, or even like them more because of them.
So liking it or not (for whatever reason), and it being truly good or not...two different things.
Telling someone something isn't as good as he thinks it is - OK
Telling someone he shouldn't like something - NO

You cannot truthfully claim that ME3 or DA2 were objectively worse than ME1/2 or DA:O. You can have it be the popular opinion and it might even seem like an obvious one to you, but it's not fact.
but I could fill up an entire thread on a discussion about subjective vs objective, and it would be quite off-topic for this thread.

Xbone vs .PS4.
Consoles vs. PC.
No.
Bronies, I don't get it, it doesn't make sense.
No.
They should stop because we all know that PC>consoles.
