Rick really likes the latest Call of Honor: Spec Ops 2 that came out, but he sees a few problems with it, and goes onto the creator's forum site to see if other people feel the same way.

 

He doesn't see anyone mention any of the problems he sees, so he starts a thread about it, outlining the his opinions with well thought out detail and grammar, just like he was taught at school, and opens it to find like minded people.

 

Oh No!

Within the hour, he has received 3 death threats, 8 people claiming knowledge of his mother's and sometimes father's bedroom behaviors, 2 people suggesting he stop playing the game, 1 guy claiming to know he doesn't like women, and one user telling him how he can earn $700 dollars at home from the comfort of his couch.

 

The next day, any rare user that feels the same way is verbally beaten away, and the mods close it for getting off topic

This "selfies" nonsense. Nobody cares and taking a picture of yourself does not require its own word to further an effort to butcher the English language. I don't know how society manages to get stupider every year.

Oh, I almost forgot: the idiotic trend of "everyone's a winner" in little league sports, field day, etc. This is merely creating sniveling cowards once these kids become adults and realize that in college/the work force their crybaby tactics are ineffective. Competetion is hard-wired into our brains, we need to be defeated once in a while. It strenthens our character and builds self-reliance.
