(Forgive me if this has been ask already on here)
I may be completely wrong, but didn't we get told by Bioware that there would have been some romance-related information revealed over Valentines Day this year?
I'm certain I read something about that... Unless i've gone crazy? lol

There were some humourously captioned images, but nothing concerning gameplay.
You'd be reading a lot more threads about it if there were.

I've heard no such thing.
They did release some Valentine "cards" on the blog, I think,, but that is it.

I thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink David Gaider said it's what he would've liked to do. But he's not in the marketing department, and doesn't make those kinds of decisions.
So no, nothing was promised.

What if there are no companion romances. What if all of this pussyfooting is nothing more than heartless string tugging?

I hope each romance is different, instead of DA2's parade of dysfunction. I'd also kinda like to see the romances have an impact here and there, like the kidnapping from DA2. Optional quests one can only get if in a romance with a specific character.

As long as the Beard Warden is a romance option. The hope that he might be is one of the major reasons I'm playing a lady in my first Inquisition playthrough.

It'll be interesting to see how they play it off. I just hope not everyone is romancable. Though it'll be tragic if that bearded warden is a 20+ years warden. "I'd love to romance you PC, but I hear them Deep Roads calling."

The one and only LI for both genders is Sandal.
Prepare for enchantment.

Let's hope he doesn't do to the player what he did to that Darkspawn Ogre... or that horde of demons.... or that horde of darkspawn...
You know what, I think I'll just play it safe and stay away from the "Enchantment!"

Oh GOD like that lizard guy from Mass Effect all over again. And he spends 80% of the time talking fondly about his dead wife. ![]()

There's no reason why characters can't be available to both sexes, and still be portrayed as straight or gay within whichever context is chosen.

I dunno, I'm a sucker for tragic romances. Besides, if you can romance everyone, you can pick and choose, and those of us who love that sort of thing can have our cake and eat it too! Or something like that. Yeah. Everyone wins! ![]()

the inquisitor is too badass to deal with love interests, the only love he needs is the love of his right hand

My personal and selfish hope is that Solas is not a love interest because I'd miss out if he was, as I'm not interested in men. Beyond that... tentatively Sera?

Well, there will be male LIs, despite of your interest. Sorry to disappoint.
