Yep, well, he said he wrote two LI. And he also wrote Cassandra. So if someone thinks Cassandra isn't a LI... they're saying DG wrote three characters (which is a lot)

 

(Where did this get said? That DG wrote two romances? I can't remember where I read that, and it's driving me batty.)

 

Is it unlikely that he did write more than two characters? How many did he write in DA2? Wasn't it several? And do NPC's add to the character count, or just companions? Could it be one NPC, one companion romance?

 

Just my thoughts.

 

He wrote only one in DA2 (Fenris).

 

He wrote Alistair, Zevran and Morrigan in DA:O, so, there is precedent. But to me it seems unlikely that he would write three characters again since he also wrote a novel in that time period, and his duties as head writer have probably increased.

Yeah, it was back when he was complaining about writing crunch time, and he was pulling long days/nights finishing up dialog and what not.

If it makes sense... I kind of think she will be an Isabela/Merrill combo. Cute and silly and kind of droll like Merrill, but with Isabela's "take me as I am" attitude and general sauciness.

What do you mean ? If your girlfriend / boyfriend is involved with you, you won't be jealous if he / she tries to seduce / sleep with someone else ?

 

If I take the example of Kaidan / Ashley / Liara in M1, or Morrigan / Leliana in DAO and how our Pc can behave with them, I think it's pretty normal to be upset, and not really about " ego. "

Well, ofcourse. But first of all, this is a game so getting jealous is a bit silly. Secondly, I'm not saying that the LI should just be okay with if you decide to get it going with somebody else. I just mean that I don't need some catfight power fantasy.

I believe they said they are going to do something similar to what they did with Liara in Mass Effect 3, as in have them naked but not show any of the naughty bits by having them obscured in shadows or just out of sight of the camera.

I just wanted to be sure that characters being jealous because of how you behave wasn't the issue. I took you as an example in real life, I didn't talk about the game.

 

As for " catfight ", It could easily happen in real life, I don't see why it couldn't happen in the game since characters have their own personality, they are independent and could well behave that way . You do realize your character can sleep with characters in a video game, can kiss them, can feel for them too, can seduce several people at once. So I guess, that's silly and power fantasy too ?

My point was that I don't need a couple of females fighting over my character because he is the awesome most amazing inquisitor. If one would romance several at the time then yes, by all means, they have the right to get jealous and angry and pissed and what not.
