PS: I think that that was the book that created "Cereal Killer Kai Lang"
It is the only Mass Effect book I haven't read. I skipped buying it and just read the fan-created compilation of everything that is wrong with the book. Given how borked it is regarding established characters and the lore, it just wasn't worth picking up. Initially I was waiting for the promised rewrite, but now with the rewrite not happening and its official status seeming to be 'non-canon,' I'm going to skip it altogether.
