I'm of a mind that whatever this "Maker" is might be a force in opposition to Flemeth, another powerful entity.
I'd like to imagine they're two opposing Gods that have been fighting for eternity.

You're forgetting the 6 evil Dalish gods too.
Them too
I feel that they're all real and equal in power

Indeed. As the user Ieldra once put it, "a cosmic chess match"
If anything we have evidence of events being manipulated greatly by both Flemeth and some other entity over the past several centuries in Thedas.

I wish you would.
I think all you heard were the words "close to jumping" and "you." ![]()
Okay, I'll stop contributing to a derail. Just try to keep it civil folks. See ya around the forums!

I just would like to know what exactly the connection is between the Maker and these Dalish gods, cause I think that they both exist in some fashion.

Probably because mankind burned the roast a million years ago and the Maker has been slapping them for it ever since?

A sociopathic, tantrum-throwing crybaby hurling toxic monsters from the sky?
You're damn right I'd be ****** horrified.
He doesn't interfere with creation,
they went there and effed with him. He sends a message, you eff with me, I eff with you
What, you wanted him to kill himself? lol
You just hate him cause he's got more cosmic awareness than you, boo hoo, life's not fair

It was our own fault. We made him do it.
He doesn't mean to do it, he just can't control his temper.

What if the Maker is a dreaming godhead?
And the player is the godhead dreamer's ability to interact in the dream as it moves through the phases of the dream, which are the ages of the world?
or just as seriously...
REPENT! The end is nigh!
Marry me. You have achieved CHIM too?!!

Oh my god, you figured me out.
I cry myself to sleep at night because a fictional character possesses greater 'cosmic awareness' than me.
I just can't stand the thought that he is privy to all the secrets of a make-believe universe that has no bearing on my daily life.

Better?
Absolutely.
Still, it seems as though the Maker if not neglectful is very forgetful as a creator.
