This is a topic for discussing about different languages, possible similarities, teaching one thing or two about a language if you want, morphology and other things related to languages you want to talk about.

Polls included. :)

Though I really like Latin, Middle Persian (Parthian and Sasanid) Languages are the sweetest!

I know its not listed, but I've always found sign language interesting, especially when you see it from other countries translation.  There are over a dozen or so different commonly known sign languages.  Even ones familiar to us like ASL originated in other places, like France.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

Went with Japanese, since I'm still not quite over how hilarious "moshi moshi" is.

Also, polls are back? Nice.

Obligated to say German or Danish because I'm biased to my primaries, but I voted Native North American languages because they're funky as hell.

Italian has a romantic allure I can't deny, though I'd taken german instead back in high school. I'd learn japanese, but the amount of work put in that language is a bit too intimidating for my tastes.

If the language wasn't dead, I'd learn it. Has the creepiness factor, and my nickname's latin, so got little excuse.

Everything sounds sexier in French.

And more magnificent in Latin.

Ancient heiroglyphics or GTFO.

I chose Japanese because I watch anime, and French 'cause French chicks speaking French. Also, Italian's pretty nifty.

I tried to learn German a few years back. Only learned one phrase and was delighted when a German student asked me why I was saying "You are a woman"

Man.

Not surprising for languages that do not have a written system of their own and adopt another alphabet. Had a quick look at one South African Zulu-dialect once, looked fun as well.

Anyway...

Bugünkü dillerden, Türkce en cok seviyorum.

Tongues of antiquity, many of which are only preserved in written form, cuneiform would be my pick.

:( you don't have Python listed as a possible favorite language, so I'll go with one of the Latin languages.
