Asari Valkyrie + Incendiary Reegar is the ultimate shotgun platform in the game B)

Jokes aside, AIU is definitely an "easier to play shotgun platform". Even if you fail at situational awareness and at predicting the enemy (troll)spawns & moves , you can still get away without losing a medigel. Other than that I consider the GI & HSol as far more superior "shotgun kits".

Ok, here you can see old TechnoTurians solo with TRaider

Here you can see amazing Anno's performance with GI.

And you probably will see an amazing TRaider duo... [looks at Deerber] when we have a time.

AIU can suck ballz of those guys.

Tsol has big enough balls for the both of them.

I don't care about deeps. I have more fun playing the AIU. I don't bother with Snap Freeze and just run around doing back flips and blowing heads off with my Claymore. I love the hydraulic noise when you do a hand spring or back flip.

Not at all. Did you check links in the first post?

I don't mean applied damage, that may vary depending on how many pellets hit. I mean raw, max possible damage. AIU excels in that by far.

But even this is mistaken- using the same weapon and mods you've got here, and using all their powers, the GI does 3786 damage with a cloaked Claymore I shot, whereas the AIU does 3859. The next shot, cloak is on cooldown, but PM and SF should still be active, and now the GI does 2497 where the AIU does 2014. And with reload cancelling on the Claymore, you should be cloaking about every other shot. And here's the kicker- you can stack PM's, so by the next cycle, the GI is going to be even further ahead.

First shot:

GI (cloak, proxy mine)- 3786

AIU (cloak, snap freeze)- 3859

(AIU +73 at this point)

Second shot:

GI (proxy mine)- 2497

AIU (snap freeze)-2014

(GI +410 at this point)

The GI has passed the AIU with the 2nd shot, and the gap can potentially widen further if the enemy is something that can survive another cloaked proxy mine cycle, like an Atlas. (also, we're not including the direct damage that proxy mine deals)

So, as you can see, the GI actually trumps the AIU in raw damage output, as well as his other advantages. Really, all the AIU has going for it over the GI are repair matrices, and that's pretty much negated by the GI's wallhacking ability anyways.

Proxy mine only stacks once per person I believe.

Yeah, I've heard that, but it seems like they do (and I've definitely heard elsewhere that they do stack)- does anyone know for sure? Anyone ran some numbers?

(also, the point stands either way- the GI jumps ahead of the AIU, in raw damage potential, even without PM stacking- if you can stack them, that makes the gap even wider)

PM only stacks when used by different players.

Do you actually get the shotgun bonus damage if you break cloak with snap freeze? I thought you didnt, but Iam confused now.

Ok. Even so, the GI outperforms the AIU, assuming all pellets hit, by the 2nd shot, and can continue to widen the gap indefinitely because he'll do an extra 400 or so damage (on LuckyStarr's setup) every two shots.

I know- not really telling it to you guys, I'm just noting that your correction RE PM stacking doesn't affect my point to LuckyStarr about the AIU not outperforming the GI in shotgun damage output.

It's just a "literature reference", yes, the reference.

The duration of the bonus is no different than any other Infiltrator's duration.

Does it really matter when you have a geth trio, destroya and marksmen? Any mentioned kit is a lot more interesting to play with shooty than sexbot.

No, but it does matter with regards to how one should spec and play the AIU.

Split fitness and scrubmatrix, max the rest. Doesn't matter if bonus works with SF or not. Despite the fact that I hadn't tried her (boring even on paper), I don't think that there can be a problem in speccing such a kit.
