Character Portaits that were uploaded are now blank

Sometime last night two characters (Elan and Vela) that I had uploaded successfully are not having their portraits display correctly, including the one I was currently using as my profile pic. My profile pic turned into a black box, so I switched it to one that was not messed up. On the "Change My Photo" page I see their names instead of a picture, but I can still select them. According to the Profile Diagnostics page the only error with those two characters are the extra files problem.

You could try deleting the extra files, by using the usual method.

Yeah, I was going to do that tonight or tomorrow. Which will hopefully get my portraits back at the same time. But it seems something weird went on last night as I've seen a few different people with missing profile pics.

I'm also getting this. I was hoping a character update would fix it, but updates aren't coming. Hrmph.
EDIT:
Sorry, I take that back. After writing the above I checked my profile one last time, and discovered that my updates had finally come in. Both my avatar and portrait had gone AWOL, but now they're back and both up to date. (The story data is lagging behind, but that always seems to be the last to show up.)
