Yes.
then you are a fool, you must realize when a group you like has gone way too far as to leave the world in jeopardy

Yes.

I don't even know what to say to this
O_O
I don't even know what to say to this
Are you really surprised?
What's your point?
Aren't you being unseemly by supporting the position that "all that stands in the way of preserving a civilization must be torn down" and "so what if the Asari almost destroyed civilization"?
And, you know, your last few responses were a completely different topic.
@Xil, would you seriously keep the eluvians going if it meant the sky ripped open and unleashed hell on Thedas?
That only applies to the mage boon, and even that was carried over, even if it wasn't perfectly implemented. There's no reason the Dalish boon wouldn't also be carried over, even if some unspecified bad thing happened in Ferelden.
If the Dalish have lands in Ferelden why do they need to stay in Orlais?
Sentimentality seems rather ridiculous in this situation
At this point, I hope that they all kill each other and no one gets what they want.
The codex entries on Shartan read how he joined Andraste's fight against the Imperium; Dark Moon, the Dales, Glandivalis, and the Canticle of Shartan don't read that Shartan converted. I'm not sure that the Chantry written entry about Shartan being a "devotee" of Andraste clarifies matters, either. Given how the elves established the Dales and resumed the faith of their elven pantheon, I don't see why they would have needed to convert to the human religion.
Maybe Shartan did it because he believed in Andraste's God?
You know, Converted as an individual.
O_O
Well, the sooner the situation is resolved, the sooner we can close the Veil tears, yes? If they opened them, they may well be the best suited to closing them... at a time of our convenience.

It's not like I can do anything to prevent a secret asari cabal from not disclosing information. Also, if you have more ME things to say, take them to PM plz.
No choice, burn all the elves to end the possibility of this madness
O_O
Yeah...Another thing Xill says that freaks out the entire room.
We should start a count.
Screw it. Shatter all the mirrors and be done with it. This is WAY too much power for the Dalish alone to hold.
I see no reason to surrender the ability to feed the hungry and malnourished, or to warn people about impending dangers, simply because you think it's "too much" for the elves to have an edge over humanity.
Nope, not at the expense of letting them having that much power over the world. Looks like I'm gonna be calling on Morrigan to help me counteract the Dalish.
I'm sure it'll be on the top of Morrigan's list of priorities. ![]()
Oh yeah, I'm shattering the mirrors. Heaven help the idiot that gets in my way.
@Xil, would you seriously keep the eluvians going if it meant the sky ripped open and unleashed hell on Thedas?
Well, I'd prefer to fix that bug first. Failing that, I'd have them closed down after everything that required them was finished (and preferably after learning how to build ones that didn't have that side effect).

Because the land is kind of terrible. It's a starting point, but not suitable for rebuilding their whole civilization.

It has absolutely nothing to do with humanity. It has to deal with a balance of power in the world. Or do you truly believe the Dalish will remain uncorrupted by this immense magical power?
Oh yeah, I'm shattering the mirrors. Heaven help the idiot that gets in my way.
Those Mirrors are a risk to Thedas a whole, Them being a possible reason why the Veil was sundered only adds into the need for their rapid destruction.
Sad when a City Elf can work a Dalish artifact better than any Dalish Elf can.
The Eluvians were guarded, and not within immediate reach. Also, I see nothing sad about an elf wanting to help the elves. I'm hoping my elven Inquisitor can work with Briala in helping the Elvhen.
It has absolutely nothing to do with humanity. It has to deal with a balance of power in the world.
Which is horribly, horribly skewed in humanity's favor. This evens the scales rather nicely.

Like giving Nuclear weapons to cavemen.
I could recite Mordin's entire limitation speech.

Beggars can't be choosers, especially if when they show up to beg they get swords and fireballs

And yet this immensely skews it in the elves' favor.

And thus we now try to snag the Dales.

No more than necessary.

Don't we have bigger fish to fry though?

Yes, the elves, then the qunari as a whole

You can, you know, at the very least follow the laws that they've put into place. But fair enough.
Also, how short sighted are you? If the Dalish have more (they already have a mask that can tear the veil, or, so I've heard mentioned in one of the books/comics) veil tearing artifacts, and they use them to threaten human nations, every nation, Andrastian or otherwise, is going to come down on them. And they'll deserve what they get for unleashing unspeakable horrors onto people who have nothing to do with the situation.
