That's cute.
No. This is cute.
That's cute.
I have no problem at all with it. I was simply pointing out that Lob seems to be cemented in his viewpoint like TKS is.
As opposed to the people who claim the Chantry version is correct, while I state that we don't know the truth?
True. Slavery then?
Only practiced in Tevinter at this time.

I took the 'Slavery then?' part out.
No. This is cute.
*snip*
That is not cute. That is a killing machine, finely tuned through millenia of evo.... Aaaaaw look at the paws ![]()
No. This is cute.
That tiger looks terrified.
I took the 'Slavery then?' part out.
Oh, sorry. Didn't see that.
So the Dales were pretty much like most other nations in Thedas and also quite a large number rl medieval nations seems like they fit right in
There were free mages, so the Dales was a bit different.

Ruling mages so, similar to Tevinter. How the Keepers acted remains to be seen, though.

No problem. ![]()
I do wonder what would happen to elves though. Were humans, Tevinter excluded, oppressive before the Dales attacked Orlais or was the oppression an aftereffect?

Having mages in leadership positions isn't sufficient to make it similar to Tevinter.

There are free mages in Tevinter too.
lmfao.
And Lob's the unreasonable one?
Why would a andrastian dwarf try to live in orzummar? Guess that means they deserves to be banished from the place they were born and killed, right?
Nope, but I suppose the dwarves are lucky they're more difficult to get at than the elves were...
But who says they want to leave, perhaps they have friends and family living in the Dales and want to live with them, just because they might believe in the maker or no god at all doesn't mean they should uproot there life.
Because they still want to live in a free Elven nation? Since their only other option is to dwell in the slums known as the Alienages that nobody wants to live in?
Good answers. But this is a social issue that should be solved among the elves themselves and not forced by outsiders.

Which is why I added, "How the Keepers acted remains to be seen, though."
But, politically, there is a autocracy unless new information says otherwise.

Not if the solution is to attack a foreign village. Then it becomes an international one.

Some people see foreign soldiers sent into their country against their wishes as an act of war. Retaliation isn't surprising.

Soldiers under the control of the Chantry, not Orlais

And the Chantry is seated in Orlais.

So they attack Orlesian cities whose only relation to the Chantry is they have a Chantry building in the town.

Well they did assume the Templar escorts were soldiers lol

That would be like attacking Rome to get to the Vatican. Multiple cities, no it's unnecessary [i'm unaware if it was] but to attack Val Royeaux makes perfect sense to me.

Why does it remind me of Petrice?
I do not care what anyone says. Someone like Petrice would be an incredible lay.
Well they did assume the Templar escorts were soldiers lol
True.
