Morrigan to counteract them? I feel like she might know how to activate them regardless of the "passphrase".

Or shut Briala up before someone else learns from her

I'm comfortable identifying with an intelligent, clever, self-centered, arrogant, but most of all genre-savy not-real-villain who managed to age with grace.

Redcloak doesn't suit you at all.

If avatars were supposed to be accurate reflections of the person using them, I've been doing it wrong. Because I'm not Japanese or short, can't play the guitar, and have a singing voice that's only any good if everybody listening to it is drunk.

Just remember that Tarquin isn't nearly as smart as he thinks he is, and that the rest of the Vector Legion mostly just humors him. He thinks he's in charge, but he is, like Elan, the wacky sidekick enamored with genre conventions (except vastly more egotistical and delusional).

And I'm not a charismatic warlord who rapes women, so there's that as well.

I've been told in the past by people who know me that I'm older in spirit than body, so I've often had a soft spot for avatars of older people. The rest is just personal fan-ism.

It sounds like she can activate the network remotely, so she could potentially get away before you could even touch her.

Clearly I chose well, then, for what am I except someone who needs a regular reminder to be humble in my greatness that isn't as great as I might like to believe it is?

So, we all still for smashing the mirrors?

I thought we decided to dump them into a lake of magma so even if they survive the extreme heat anybody who goes after them won't?

I wonder what would happen if Briala was killed without revealing the password to anyone.

I imagine they would become unusable until someone found a different way into the Network such as summoning the big daddy of all demons.

Or until Morrigan felt like lending her expertise; that's how amazing she is.

Either Morrigan...or maybe Felassan's clan. I'm pretty sure he said that his own clan had managed to reawaken many of the old magics.

Technically he's one of the Big Daddies of all demons

Well that was an interesting 40 pages or so.

So, lots of new information came up.  Puts a lot in perspective.  Raises up a lot of questions, though.

http://dragonage.wik...Brecilian_Ruins

It has two pieces of the Juggernaut armor, one inside an Arlathan Elf's sarcophagus, and was apparently a place of coexistence between humans and elves.  But the way it was destroyed sounds mysterious, and now that we know that ancient demons get all tingly from Eluvians, might be a hint.  I don't remember a mirror being there, though.

When you think about it, in a single playthrough, the Warden may have killed/defeated up to three demi-gods. Urthemiel, Flemeth and Gaxkang.

The Templars should lay off the mages a bit and contain whatever s/he is.

The eluvian in the Dalish origin appears to be in the Brecilian ruins.  Looks like the same area, and there was also evidence of elves and humans living together at the site.  Sounds like a possibility for whatever big bad the Arcane Warrior spirit was trying to describe.

So we're not drop-kicking them into the fade?

I do not care what anyone says. Someone like Petrice would be an incredible lay.

I can't remember if it was you, but someone said something similar in another thread, and this led to me admitting that I wish Hawke could've hatef**ked an NPC.

The Elluvian network is like the Anvil of the Void to me

I want the network to be used by the Inquisiton to stop the agents of chaos, at least.

But the network itself seems like it could be very dangerous in the wrong hands or a big boon in the right ones.

I'm not immediately thinking about destroying them yet.

They should be destroyed...unless they somehow find their way to the inquisitions treasure vaults.

Hmm. Now that i think about it, the eluvians should be kept and trademarked. A crafty businessmen could create a delivery service that surpasses the efficiency of all known irl delivery companies combined.

Smash the mirrors, purge the Dalish, and strike down the mages!

Then we can work on giving the City Elves rights, reforming the CoM into something a bit more fair, and getting back to the good old days of Fantasy!France conquering Fantasy!Anglo-Saxon England.

Honestly though I'm pro smashing the mirrors. Nothing that good works in the DA universe without a cost.

Every time you use one of those mirrors a puppy is hit by a carriage and a once loving family is split apart.
