If we are discussing the Lady, I'd always assumed that she was a Natural Spirit, A Dryad or this universe's equivalent anyway.

Forced into the Wolf vessel via Zatherian's meddlesome ritual, So I'd assume she would be aware as any spirit of her existence, cognition is a murky subject in DA though.

True. I'll just stick with her having been unable to feel and think cause her calling him Maker is just huh.

I wonder if we'll see any werewolves in the Dales

I hope so.

I half want a sidequest where we get the chance to be one ala the Companions quest. Though hopefully no need to eat people to power up abilities :X

Idk if you saw that Lady of the Forest thread from a few days ago, but David Gaider popped in to say that there indeed other dryads like the Lady in different forests.

I didn't see the thread. Do you have a link?

Yes, the Lady of the Forest is our version of a dryad. There are other dryads, though not all of them are as benevolent.

Werewolves, Walking Corpses, Demons, In the dead still bloody places of Thedas.

There is no end to the danger posed from the Fade.

I think the dryads are simply nature spirits, not necessarily things from the Fade itself.

Thanks. I wonder if we will meet another in Inquisition, perhaps in the Dales.

I would almost expect it bro. The Dales are enormous, much bigger than the Brecilian Forest. And more importantly, it's old. I would bet the Dales could have a MUCH stronger dryad within its boundaries.

One cannot assume that such a plan would work, especially not now that so much blood is being shed. Any of hope of the long game's reliability, which was faint as hell to begin with, (snip)

The long game of changing an entire generation's worth of nobles opinions on elf kind(which is working) is shot to hell and unfeasible.....but the elves somehow being able to resist the military might of Orlais(even after a civil war) is possible and reasonable. I mean honestly, everyone in the BSN has their own specific biases.....but you need to clean them rose colored glasses :P

But spirits are from the fade.

I'm surprised it took 88 pages to get to this point.

I think one of the causes is more likely than the cause. Otherwise ending it would be pretty simple.

Yea that's why I'm leaning towards one of the cause, because the plot would be too simple then

It's stuff like that which makes choosing between the two really, really simple for me.

If the Dalish caused the Veil Tears, then I very much doubt it was intentional. If anything, their accidental release of Imshael may be the cause of the Veil Tears.

Let's be fair here, just a few lines ahead, Celene reflects on how a proclamation freeing the elves will lead to a great instability in the empire such as her own soldiers burning down the homes of humans who protest against this and elves turning to banditry and rebellion after having their first taste of freedom and wanting more.

I assume that this is what, in future chapters, will lead to her taking a step back and reassuming her previous position of how change must be brought in slowly and carefully.
